Here's a challenge to up to 4 Patriots fans on the site. You're at home and a 3 point favorite. $20 says the Saints win the game straight up. That's a sacrifice for me to win some animal rescue money. If you win, I'll paypal you the money. If I win, you pay The Boxer Rescue that covers New England (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI).
I'm in a pick'em game, where you pick winners straight up and get points based on the spread. I was probably going to pick the Saints over NE, until they got smoked by the Panthers.

No way are the Panthers as good as they looked in that game (at least not against us). I want to say we had beaten them 4 straight and 8 out of the last 9 or so. Many of those losses were close as you'd expect some of the divisional games to be. I think it was more of a product of circumstance based on the lack of offensive positional coaches due to the breakthrough Covid outbreak. I also think Phil Snow (Panthers DC) called an awesome game in light of our predicament that's not likely going to work in most instances. Their 68% blitz rate from Sunday's game was third most in the NFL since 2009. We were without our top couple WR's and all those coaches as well as some of the line. There were at least 3 3rd down penalties that extended drives for them including the one where Turner got called for a personal foul for tackling McCaffrey above the knee. I think the official who called that one didn't have a particularly good look at it and should have kept his hands in his pocket playing pocket pool instead of throwing that flag.

Eh, how about this. If the Saints win, I'll send $20 to a place down in NOLA or Pensacola that you like. Just lmk.
If you're down for a side bet, my friend Andrea (used to be on the board a bunch of years ago) used to volunteer for a rescue place in Nashville called Proverbs 12 10 - and fosters a dog for them still. Both the Pats and Saints play the Titans this year. If Tennessee beats either team, you/I pay up $12.10 to that group.

Fair and deal on Saints vs. Pats this week*. And I'll take the bet vs. Titans for the rescue place but you'll have to remind me in mid-November so I don't forget between now and then. Looks like we both play them in November. If the Patriots win and you would prefer me to send the $20.00 to Proverbs 12 10, I can do that too.
* I don't watch the show but it won't be Pitbulls and Parolees. haha . More likely to be the Louisiana Boxer Rescue or something like that.

You just lost to the Panthers. You probably shouldn’t be betting anyone.
Maybe. But that well could have been a one off all things considered (coaches with covid, high injury count, haven’t been home in a month, etc.). It’s not for me, it’s for animals.
Yup. I don’t have cable so I couldn’t access it. Last week they must have put it up on espn+ as well, but just furthers that these companies have no clue how to handle streaming.
Just wait, they’ll be shocked the viewership went down when they gave the espn+ only people access for 1 week only…like what’s the point…
To sell you ESPN2
Which requires a cable package. Which kind of defeats the purpose of cord-cutters and streaming. Boomers just need to let the young people run shit because they are clueless about technology.

Depends on what stream service you use. Sling has ESPN2. I’m assuming you are a young person, so unless you believe it to be unethical, why not pirate the telecast? Even us old people know that shit.
Preliminary ratings show that the viewership for the Mannings was up to 1.9MM which is over double. Not sure the length of time people watched for or if they are all unique. But good for them.

Sling, Youtube TV, Hulu Live are cable packages, streaming cable packages…I used to pay for Locast and could change the browser long / lat coordinates to bypass the georestrictions and watch the local Denver channels (and ABC for MNF) but that got shut down by shocker, the large cable companies because they sued Locast to shut them down.
There’s other shit out there-maybe spotty at times. But we generally have 3 or 4 games going and whatever else we want. It’s not always as easy as OG Justin TV. But the channels are out there for viewing.
Ironically, I’d gladly pay the $300 for NFL Sunday Ticket, but again, DirecTV requires a dish package since I live in a home. I’m looking forward to the NFL moving the NFL Sunday Ticket in 2023; it can’t get much worse.

I think if they cleaned up consistently cutting off the guests mid sentence, and stuck w maybe less guests with a little more time for each it would be smoother and would definitely hold better
guests ranked..
Russ McAfee Ray Chuck Kelce Gronk Favre Willis (who wasn't bad but might as well have been a ghost)

I think last year I called to ask them about this and, after telling me I was ineligible, I told them I'd just do redzone, I guess, and they practically begged me to let them make an exception for me. I did not take them up on it, but it's worth a call (unless you've done that).

Im sure there is a way to get around it and get the Directv stream service they offer now. Theyre really pushing it now so people who live in apartments can get sunday ticket. Luckily they keep offering me free Sunday Ticket 3 years and counting for my ''loyalty''. Who wouldve thought it finally paid off having the second highest spanish language package they offer.

I got mine it with my Disney+ & Hulu bundle, too
Anyways, they don't want you to be a cord cutter. They aren't clueless, they're trying to make more money.

I had it last year without DirecTV. I think I used my student account and only paid $150ish for the whole year and they never even asked for my student email lmao

Justin TV! I had totally forgotten about that!
Yeah. It reminded me of like Napster and shit from a few years before that, but just live tv stations playing from around the world. There was tons of random shit early in the Internet days. Internet Public Library out of the University of Michigan was great too. I think it was IPL.org or something. It linked to pretty much every online magazine and newspaper that were on the web. Maybe it still exists? That’s another one I hadn’t thought about in years.

Pat was highly entertaining last night.
The Hattiesburg troll on Favre was great as well as when Eli was ribbing on him when he underage jumped a fence to sneak in a pool hall and was going to drink and shoot pool with Favre but his buddy wussed out.
