I don’t really get how I’m suspicious either unless it’s a process of elimination. I know I haven’t been as active as usual but I’ve just been busy as hell (and even so think I’ve contributed a good amount)

I'm not giving Silv and Theo a pass for the entire game moving forward, just didn't think it made sense to focus in on either of them for this day.

We've got KPO voting for me for no reason as far as I can tell, same with Maddog, Silver thinks the whack points to Rummy but only wants to vote for her if it's to preserve a runoff, the ref is changing the deadline without warning, and people are locking for a straight exile with no runoff, so there'll be no meaningful voting history for the next round. So yes, I mostly stay quiet anymore and don't bother defending myself. Kinda hard to do that when there's barely any reason for the votes I've garnered. Last game was fun but I understand why a lot of longtime players aren't interested anymore.

Looking at this again today, it really does stand out... Tranter chose to push us to a 5-way instead of just throwing away his vote to keep it at a 4-way. If he didn't have a teammate in the 4 here ^^ with two votes on them, why did he do that?
There are the votes on me, with all of their explanations. KPO - nothing. Maddog - nothing. Silver made up something earlier about me Tranter "protecting" me with his vote in D1, which I pointed out made no sense because the vote he was referring to kept me in the exact same position as before, all that changed was who I was set to move forward with. So Silver is incorrect that Tranter protected me. The only person voting for me who's vote makes sense is Rummy's - there's sound logic to it in regards to Tranter expanding the runoff. Everyone else has just piled on and locked with no explanation so if you're town and you see that and go "yeah, that's good strategy for town", then yeah idk what else to tell you.

Wait are we in a Rummy/Jaz runoff with a deadline of tomorrow or was D3R1 extended through tomorrow morning? I read it as the latter so my above posts come from that POV.
Agree with Jaz that I’d like to hear more from the people voting for him. KPO specifically. I know I’ve pointed out the reason I think Jaz could be implicated but I agree we shouldn’t be giving people a pass for saying so little.

If you're town, we are fucked on this day here anyway because that would mean we've got town v town and D4 will be our last chance for a town victory.
I don't really think it is fair though to say that all these folks are voting for you without reason: Tranter shifted the runoff from 4 people (which is plenty to go forward with in D1) to 5 for no clear reason, and you are the only unknown for me in that runoff that could be Maf (and thus reason for Tranter to have done that, to expand it to include more people in hopes of bolstering the chance his teammate would survive). It isn't nothing, and at this point, we have pretty little to be going off of since our Inspector is dead and was only able to get us one confirmed role: his given.
Also, it is fine I guess if people think that a Maf Team comprising me + T + ? would decide to whack Jostles over a couple posts earlier in the game where he thought I might be acting sus...but the reality is, whacks after the fact of the Inspector for sure being DEAD are often less about "who said what about who" and more about getting rid of either 1) townies they don't want to have to contend with in D4/5 or 2) townies that have been proclaimed as Likely Town anyway, because they'll be harder to pin it on in D4/5.
Lastly, I'm pretty sure that folks are locking just so we don't have to sit through 24 hrs for no reason--it is to get to D4 sooner, not out of strong conviction in your Mafia-ness--just in your probability of Mafia-ness when compared to me.

^^ I posted this before seeing your latest posts, Jaz -- yeah, you're right that KPO, Silv, and MD all voted without explanation. My guess was that their reasoning was same as mine, and Silv has at least spoken to that, but KPO and MD kind of threw in their vote without clarifying rationale behind it.
If this is town v town right now with me and Jaz, gah Mafia has gotten themselves into a great position entering D4: not only can they potentially win that day but also there will NEARLY as little information going into the day as we have now because we won't have a 2nd Mafia member confirmed to help shed light on who could be the third by way of D1 behavior and movements.

In regards to what Jaz said about the game not being fun anymore. I agree that we have an issue with player retention/interest that probably needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. Weather it’s something with our rule set or meta/culture wise I think we need to pinpoint the problem and solve it for the longevity on the game. Playing mafia should be fun and not a chore. I always get so sad when I see longtime players lose interest.

The votes were me, potent, and BKB at three with Rummy at two. Tranter moved off of BKB and onto Rummy. How does this equate to him protecting me? I was just as likely to move forward both before and after this move. And can you show me where he superstacked prior to this?

Very possible, hard for me to say weather I agree or not until we get confirmation on Jaz’s role. If he’s mafia I think your head is in the right place
I mean it's a 50/50 shot, I don't think either of you are cleared by any means, however rummy didn't make a big nosense post and vote for me, and didn't defend herself in the R/o by spazzing out, so I feel ok about it. I get a frustration post but it seemed to be a lot.
