there’s no way to do it without looking sus. I would say lock votes but it would look like I’m trying to push through something when I really do not care.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I think postgame we could definitely come up with a good strat. Maybe locking votes, starting at 3 person instead of 4, or even no runoff- as long as we all have an idea of what we should do. I think people trying to speed it up now look sus because it isn't conventional and always just seems weird on day 1 with no info.

Think one of towns biggest detriments is we don't really have any agreed upon strategies. And if we do have one, someone tries to go against it for the sake of going against the grain. Feel like a lot of us, myself included, try top hard to solve the puzzle themself instead of together. But individualistic play helps mafia

How do you suggest town works together? Seems kind of impossible

D1 plays are so random. You honestly just have to get lucky so I don’t mind some individualistic play here so long as one person isn’t steering us so hard one way.

Idk something as simple as T before doing his superstacks posting a question like "Hey guys I think we could get some nice voting data if I superstack jaz, any opposition?" Just an example but I think there's many moves made that can at least be discussed. Day 1 is the strongest day for town as we outnumber 8-3 rn. Will probably be 6-3 day 2 if we don't have a mafia in this runoff
Also I don’t find day 1 particularly boring, if anything it’s just because people play to the meta instead of embracing a little chaos to get some more info.

I think 12 hour rounds make sense after the initial voting. I'm also not opposed to getting a runoff set at a number we all agree upon, then working from there to whittle it down, and doing this all in D1R1. Maybe it's a 48 hour D1R1, where we start with 4, whittle down to 2, do everything without any deadlines passing. This would also increase flexibility to change the runoff at any point if someone were sus, or if the inspector came out and we could get the given first, etc.

I've sort of thought that always made sense but I understand how the runoff breaks makes it more of a game of consequences
