Semi related question: Morgan Wallen is the first artist in nearly 20 years to have a country number one hit on the Hot 100. Who was the last artist before him and what was the song? (And for a bonus point: who was the last artist to get a country Hot 100 number one hit before them?)

Carrie Underwood, Before He Cheats? But really Lil Nas X should still count here dammit
Before that, I'd have to guess one of the post-9/11 patriot anthems, so Toby Keith or Darryl Worley

It is Carrie Underwood, but not “Before He Cheats”. The one before that was released in 1999 (reached #1 in 2000) so no, not 9/11 related.
(I also should’ve counted Lil Nas X in the question though you are right about that too. Scratch that for 15 years then)
When I was a grad student in Knoxville, I once won us the trivia night at Buffalo Wild Wings on the strip by answering this question - "name all 6 countries mentioned in Fall Out Boy's We Didn't Start the Fire."
Inspired by a fun fact I learned last night, here are 10 bands that have performed in English (although some primarily perform in another language) but whose names come from a non-English word or phrase. Below are the band names in English and the language the untranslated name is in. What are the bands? (Some will definitely be easier than others.)
