I only see about 5-6 sets a day. I don't know how you guys do like 18.
18???
Do people just got for a few songs
I’m at 3-5 sets a day, mostly full sets, but some maybe be 1/2 sets
I'm exaggerating. But people always post these string of like 10-12 sets when Mikey does the set times as what they'd see - I'm sure my record is like 8 shows in one day.

I know this will bum out some, but it looks like the Oingo Boingo songs slotted to be performed are all going to be reimagined for the Coachella performance.

Each set is about 75 min on avg if you include some wait times (which are sadly too long)
Then there’s some walking as well.
Don’t include wait times
If an act I want to see is 430-520 and the other act is 520-410 I consider that 2 full acts even if I walked for 8 mins.
Also I only have 1 real sit down meal. The rest is a quick pizza or burger or frozen lemonade. Also getting there early helps. The openness of the field from 12-3 is immaculate. It’s like a playground.
if you're doing 75 minute sets on average you're waiting way too long at the stages lol
just looking at 2019 Friday, I got in sometime between 1-2, saw Let's Eat Grandma, Walker & Royce, caught the tail end of King Princess, got food and saw Kacey Musgraves in full, did another food break, saw half of Anderson .Paak before meeting up with friends for BLACKPINK, RUFUS (missed first couple of songs for end of BLACKPINK), Janelle Monae (missed first couple songs for end of RUFUS), and closed it out with Nora en Pure in full, then checked the tail end of Gambino on the way out. random average day and I saw 7 nearly full sets + a small portion of another three

I understand waiting if you’re trying to see a more in demand artist, but luckily I typically only see the older folk stuff. I typically am able to always get in front of the sound stage by simply showing up 5 minutes before they take the stage.
I prefer the back of crowds so that helps a lot too. Room to dance, better vibes, no waiting! honestly most of my wait time at a festival is because I'm trying to meet up with people before a set lol

Unless it's someone I really love or am anticipating I rarely wait more than 10-15 mins for a set at a fest. Or if there's basically nothing else of interesting going on. I hate waiting around.

A regular is like 50 min or so and then the headliners skew the avg
I like to see a whole set of an artist if I really like them though
There are some artists here where I may only see a few songs though depending on time and some artists I only care for a few songs
