Do the drivers even check your shuttle passes? Can’t remember if they did when I went in 2018
They checked ours both ways every time. I was pickpocketed in the Gobi Friday night and lost my pass, and had to talk my way through three checkpoints to get on the shuttle back that night. I got an alert from the lost and found later that my wallet had been turned in, so Saturday, the people at the Omni shuttle stop were nice enough to let me on with the assurance I would get my pass at lost and found and have it for Sunday. Luckily, my pass was in my wallet and it wasn't an issue, but it was the same people working the shuttle stop all weekend so I don't know that they would've let me talk my way on without a pass again on Sunday, let alone all three days.
Cannot wait to meet you all. Been looking forward to this weekend for three years. Cannot properly put my excitement to words. For anyone at Hilton Garden Inn - down to pregame tomorrow AM before the shuttles.
Anyone here stay at the hotel Weekend 1? How was the shuttle? Hoping to be on the first one tomorrow at noon.

I was at the Hilton Garden Inn Weekend 1. The shuttles were good! A quick 5 min walk to the Omni. They left every 15 min or so and took a little over 30 min to get to the festival (there’s a second stop at the Albertson’s en route which is also the first stop on the ride home). The shuttle line was slow leaving the festival Friday night but otherwise moved quickly all weekend. The Omni has a taco station set up right outside the shuttle drop off too until about 2am each night which is clutch if you make it back in time.

The shuttle stop at the Omni also had plenty of shade and water coolers you could use while waiting, plus a cooler full of bottled water if you wanted to grab one when you boarded the bus. Our shuttle never stopped at Albertsons on the way in, even when it was half empty, but it did stop there on the way back each night.
