Mafia 140 - April Fools!!!

Yeah I wanted to start the game immediately but I'm not sure Insane Cum Posse wants to play again.  She had to be told what was going on to join this game.

I want to play, it’s actually that jacob told me not to join this game because it was going to be an April fools joke and that I should wait but then you needed one more person. That’s why I didn’t get involved in this one.

I'm glad you guys took it well because I was legit worried some of you would freak because I know how seriously the game can be taken sometimes

So ill say now that we know what we know, I think Kanye, Maddog, Dan and Rummy did an amazing job of seeming normal and townish through and through. Especially maddog and dan... they make me nervous

Dan piping up to say “Theo should switch before his self vote becomes annoying”… I’m getting sort of weird/potential teammate vibes doing the thing of pointing out something the other does that isn’t of much substance—fluff, if you will
Oof I wish Dan wasn’t my given because he is already showing a tell of his that I pick up on pretty well by this point, and I feel like if my given was someone else, I’d have a good shot at knowing two of the three come d2, but alas.
Weird that MD points out he wants to “not get swept up with the crossover in Potent’s list” since in prior games, he’s been quite gungho on voting for someone because they WERE in both lists (he did so with me recently, actually). It is of note that Danny is someone on both lists, so… idk, MD could be trying to cast attention away from his teammate?
Dan’s odd comment on pg 3: “Tranter and cum revoting together. Goals” – such fluff, ugh
Nomcum asking a question in thread about how often you can move your vote around…as we know, this could be genuine curiosity from a townie or a new player as Maf trying to look confused/innocent, but I’m not going to put too much effort into speculating which one it is at this current moment
Then Nom moves onto me which suckssss, and I also count wrong which I guess will make me look SUS—I shouldn’t do mafia on mobile while out (and drinking oops) when I am inspector because there’s too much to lose, but also I get nervous about checking out for too long from the thread bc people find Silent Rummy sus, so, it is what it is.
Dan’s weird comments about Theo again, they will forced and I’m really wondering if they’re teammates. His “Theo drops out booooo” schtick feels forced, but hey, it is also of course possible he’s drawing attention to a townie for funsies.
Prior to role reveals, I feel like Inspectors would most often 1) not vote with their given and 2) not interact too much with their given either. But I set out to not worry about keeping to either of those protocols, especially since this is my first time as inspector with role reveals, so I follow Dan’s “command” here and switch onto Theo—mostly because I am genuinely more sus of Theo at this point than Jostles
I’m switching onto Theo at this point because I have a pretty solid question mark/neutral read around Jostles right now while Theo has done a bit more to raise my suspicions. If I get pushed into exile position at the end of D1 (knowing Inforoo Mafia, I will because we love to do that to our inspectors, fucking annoying pattern I wish we could cease) I feel better about it being with Theo so that he gets exiled post-reveal instead of Jostles. I could of course be wrong on this, but I gotta go with my gut on it and hope for the best here
KPO then also switches onto Theo which pushes him to being ahead of me rather than us going to a two-way—I mean, I don’t hate it, but Potent does nudge KPO about what he’s just done with the numbers, and KPO switches back. Reads as a hella town progression of movement there, but KPO is also getting more experienced and smarter in this game, so it is possible he did this “oopsie” on purpose. For now though, I lean town on him

Theo obviously votes for me, MD votes Theo, and Tranter pulls the kill shot on me—the inspector, of course, because what fucking else does Inforoo do but try and kill inspector every d1 we can
Not only does Tranter vote for me, he goes on to say I’m “sus af” because I am asking people not to vote for me? Not feeling this comment from him
Silver might just be trying to cozy up to me with his “you’re super town” comments, but he hasn’t raised my spidey senses in his direction at all yet, and I like how he’s going at it with Dan here—it feels less manufactured than with the Dan/Theo interactions

Silv going to bat hard for me, gonna be real sad if this is a ploy, and of course Dan doesn’t like it, as he posts: “With role reveals it can be quite the opposite. If rummy is revealed as maf it’s so easy for people to say “no way her teammate would vouch for her so hard” it’s great for hiding.”
Tranter says “Eh town read on Silver but I don’t really think we should be looking ahead of what we have rn”—doesn’t he tend to throw out town reads with a tone like this when Maf in the past?
Now suddenly “Joke is over,” and Dan bounces off of me BACK to Theo… this is a lot of unnecessary movement off/on me and Theo for Maf Dan to be doing if we’re both just townies and Theo isn’t his teammate...idk, I don’t get his angle here
Prod at Jostles’ inactivity/vague promise to come back later to “destroy some Maf” or whatever, and Dan chimes in that it feels like Theo’s tone as Maf last game
And when Jostles shows up, he goes 0 to 60. All the words and declarations. In someone else, I might find it more sus but townie Jostles has a specific kind of pompousness to him...but it is hard for me to look past the fact that he’s declared a town read on Dan who of course feels MORE blatantly sus to me b/c he’s my given, but really do think he must seem sus to vanilla towns ppl too??
His declaration of roles: “Either cum / tranter / theo or cum / tranter / kpo because kpo seems a little too confident for my liking. He tends to do that when he has a role. I dont need to read further ive just solved the game. Dan and md look normal. Kanye looks normal. Rummy is town. Potent is 50/50.”
I think anyone throwing suspicions on KPO is off base (either intentionally as Maf or unknowingly as town)--he and Teddy both feel town to me. Silv is either town or doing a bang-up job of faking his classic “word vomit eager like a puppy, sometimes on the nose and other times super off in his suspicions” town mood
Very 50/50 on Potent myself, will agree with Jostles on that

Teddy told me he was Inspo with Rummy's name and when Kanye said "I've never had more of a Town read on anybody." I was like lol check out this fuckin guy.
