I know it’s a noob question, but I really don’t understand the fascination and strategy of forcing runoffs.
it is a legit and useful tactic that gives us more data/interactions to analyze (sometimes overanalyzing to our detriment, admittedly!) later on as we try to catch the Mafs.
your not recognizing the use/strategy of our tendency towards runoffs does really make me think you're vanilla town here. i think you genuinely don't get it as a new player, and i'm moving away from the idea that you're being coached
I am town. And earlier I was apparently playing the game better than I am now, which is unsatisfying. That being said, I’ve also realized there is no point in me hiding my confusion. I’ve got nothing to hide.
As a meta point, I still don’t like the strategy much. I am not sure it provides more reliable data points, or at least not so far. The inspector point made sense to me though.

It’s day three though. There’s no reason to dig into the more unlikely scenarios. Get rid of the most likely stuff first then, day 4/5 there’s so much more to go off of to start considering those types of things.
