Lmao okay, see you guys day 2 Im not talking anymore.
acting all exasperated/defeatist does nothing to help town
Its day 1 it doesn't matter. This is the last week of classes of my college career so Im not gonna spend time arguing over being "disingenuous" when all I did was point out that jortles ahd indeed fluffed today

From this point, where Dan was about to be exiled with 45 min to go, and then switched to make it a 2 way, we got a 5 way. This makes me think it's possible that either Dan or Rummy is mafia and enlarging the runoff is to increase chances of dropping out. Let's look at how it developed:
Tranter switches from Silver to Jortles, placing him at 2 with KPO the other vote. Tranter possibly saved Silver.
Rummy moved off Dan, onto me, putting me at 2 with Maddog the other vote. This also put Dan at 2 with Jortles and Otter. Rummy potentially saved Dan (but this is not really that convincing). Dan then backed off Rummy (potentially saving her, but again, not convincing) by putting Otter at 2 with Silver as the other voter. This gave us a 5 way. There is a lot of smoke with Dan and Rummy voting for each other and backing off to put others in the line of fire. Rummy conveniently drops out of the runoff when it goes from 5 to 3, along with Otter (who A) is a newbie, and B) stacked Dan up to 3 putting him in line to be killed).
It really seems like either Dan or Rummy is mafia, but likely not both.

1. When I called Dan a bad player, I specifically wanted to go over the top / be uncomfortable to see how he would respond because I do think Dan's level of venom changes when he is Mafia or Town. I did feel mean when saying it, but I felt like if anyone could take it and know that I didn't actually feel that way overall, and that I was just annoyed that he randomly moved me forward, it would be him. I would apologize to Dan in a text if he tells me after the game that was hurtful.
2. KPO voting for me every single game is actually annoying as shit. I feel no remorse whatsoever for calling him on it. I don't reciprocate the vote to him like Potent and Dan or POtent and Kanye used to. So it's just become extremely likely for me to hit the runoff the way it always was for Kanye and Potent (I think those were the two), and he doesn't even get that statistical disadvantage back. In past games I've responded to his vote by saying "annoying" to hint at this. But yeah for someone to assist in my factual disadvantage at the start of every game regardless of role AND THEN to just sit on it all day 1 without any reasoning... and on top of that I am real life friends with KPO as well so I have absolutely no remorse and no apologies coming for poking him about it.
3. Rummy and LOLs... That has obviously become a joke. I do believe that people who giggle are more likely to have a role, but Rummy specifically has shown recently that she's a giggler regardless of role. It isn't a tell for her.
4. Kanye's posts about my fluff are 100% disingenuous. He is piling on to an easy target at this point. It isn't lashing out for me to clearly show how his line of attack was totally exaggerated.
TL;DR I will apologize to Dan in private after the game but nobody else comes close to deserving one.

Jortles criticisms of my D1 R1 vote are pretty valid. I used to do it to shield myself but I feel like I know what I’m doing enough now to not need it.
I understand potent’s playing style the least so I’m fine with that. I believe Rummy said she isn’t sus of potent and I feel like Jortles and Dan are good players. If they’re town we are shooting ourselves in the foot by exiling one of them. I’m also not very sus of rummy so far
Which btw breaks one of his biggest rules as town. He ALWAYS says to never take yourself out of the running to be inspector.
I’m not actually sure if Jortles has said this in the past, but it’s actually a solid point even if he hasn’t. I think I’ve only said this if I’m mafia.

the good players thing is somewhat of a joke. We can win without either of them. It’s not like we’re a clown car. It’s D1 and we still have oracle and inspector alive.

i'm town and don't feel worried about Dan right now, so this post feels off base, but it could very well be off base from innocent town perspective. yes, dan switched off me at some point but also he has been on like half the players at some point here in d1.
you are correct though in that we are not maf together.
idk, i am feeling a little stuck on what to do here because i'm at: dan - hasn't raised my suspicions as of now; jostles - has been acting a little funny, but he has a diversity of tones/approaches he takes regardless of role, it isn't really a tell with him the way it can be with some others; potent - this post above is off base, but i could see myself in his shoes (e.g. where both my and dan's roles are question marks to him (if he's vanilla town) right now) digging in at this same angle. we all say off base things as town sometimes.

I agree we don’t need the people that usually drive the narrative. But I do think both Dan and Jortles do a good job of poking things and creating conversation that can be revealing. Or at least show potential inconsistencies which imo is the hardest thing to keep track of as mafia

Rummy 500 take your name out of it and look at it as there are two players who are stacked up to 3, and then all of a sudden there's a 5 way. If two of those players were involved in the 3 stacks, then moved their votes, leading to a 5 way, you would think the two people were sus. It has nothing to do with anything that anyone has posted, but in trying to divine the patterns of votes and movement.

I can say with certainty that I’m lost on whatever’s happening here, more thinking about the Pfizer shot I just got. I’ll catch up on this later
Theo's tell?
As an aside, and not to pick on Theo, but it's suspicious as hell when people pop in here to say something like what Theo said here. Lots of you do it, and townies need to stop it. If you are lost, read the game and contribute something when you've read it, or better - ask questions!

i know, i literally said "if i were in potent's shoes (assuming he's town), i'd probably be looking at this data with the same question marks"
however, i will say that when it comes to a d1 preemptive two-way, i don't necessarily think shifts to expand that are sus. we've all more or less agreed rushing a 2-way d1 doesn't behoove town
