Who is fondly looking back at those bands? Unless you were a teenager/tween during that era of mall-pop-punk it really didn't have a huge influence. FOB has become laughable, they went from semi-respectable emo band to a Jock Jamz sound that is the definition of cashing in. MCR is essentially a AFI knock off that had some catchy tunes and faded FAST. Their final tour before breaking up didn't even sell out theatres.

Its incredibly ironic how much bands like Fallout Boy, AAR, MCR got shat on in the 2000s and now everyone looks back on them fondly while simultaneously shitting on MGK, Kid Laroi, Ian Dior.
I dunno ‘bout these new kids, but I was happily shittin’ on Fallout Boy, AAR, and MCR (well, I did like “Vampires Will Never Hurt You” back in the day) from the start!

Their first EP was half way decent (loved it as a 13 year old and whatever) but holy God they fell off after that. I saw them at Bogart's for free (they were passing out tickets at the end of some other show) and it was absolutely atrocious
The new Pacific update on Warzone is cool though. Except I suck at it now. When that game first released I could get in the top ten or twenty pretty easily, now I get gunned down like five minutes into the match.
