I know this is what festivals like Riot Fest and Bamboozle are geared towards, but I've always loved the idea of Roo having one or two throwback emo bands play.
I remember back in 2013 when Kenny from The Starting Line joined Inforoo to promote his Silent Disco set under his new musical project Vacationer. One of the coolest moments on this board for me. And then when the day finally came for his set I went too hard at my campsite and took a nap instead of seeing him play
Back in 2013 they kicked out their guitarist because he was facing charges of child pornography and exposing himself to a minor on a webcam. Something like that.
Also Chad Gilbert almost definitely groomed Hayley Williams when she was 17/18 and he was in his late 20's, then later cheated on her multiple times. Not the craziest thing, but he still seems like a shit person. Also wrote a song about her depression being annoying to him.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

it truly seems like hype and that concerns me lol I used to love ATL but can't back a band led by a pedo. sad that most of those pop punk bands were like that (looking at you New Found Glory) but I guess if you're an angsty disgusting sad boy with a primarily underage following you can't resist to be a piece of shit

I just saw somebody posting about a fake ID on reddit and it reminded me. Does anybody remember in 2018 or 19 when on Saturday they started carding everyone even if you had a wristband? I remember hearing from a vendor that somebody sold beer to a pre-teen because they had a wristband on. Was that true?
I remember this. They must have realized the security of a paper wristband vs desperate sober teens was no match.
