FWIW, I saw Phil Collins twice on his last solo tour. He sat and used a cane the whole time...and it was still a great show. I mean, maybe it's just me, but the main draw wasn't seeing the guy dance around the stage. He still sounded great.

I’d want to see him play drums.
I mean, me, too, but I'm afraid that ship has sailed and there's no bringing it back into harbor. Time does a number on us all.
He did do some hand drumming on the solo tour, including a pretty extended solo sequence, so that was something.

I would like to add that I saw Phil on his last solo tour as well and he sounded amazing still. That’s all that really mattered to me was his iconic voice and still being able to sing so clear. Yes although it’s sad to see him so old and sitting and using a cane and not drumming, he still has his son drum for him on tour though and let me just say he really did learn from the best. His son does an incredible job drumming for him.
I just wanna hear Phil's voice if its still good, that's allllllllllllllll
his voice is amazing and so crisp still, I went to see him on his last solo tour and if I didn’t go and know that his voice was still so good, I wouldn’t have bought these really expensive Genesis tickets
why does everyone like Phil Collins all of a sudden
i got into phil around 2006 via genesis. started with gabriel era and worked my way up to the collins era. my most listened to Genesis record quickly became the live release "Seconds Out", which was right at the beginning of the Collins-era, so you have Collins singing the songs from both eras. It's a really impressive album, and he does have a very distinct and impressive voice. and the songs are great, "squonk" is still one of my favorite songs of all time.
that led me to phil collins solo. i really appreciate his first three solo records, just solid bright loud pop songs that unapologetically go for it.
the career path for genesis/collins is so interesting to me, from pastoral progressive rock weirdoes to shiny 80s pop superstar. i stop with "invisible touch" though, i think "the way we walk" sucks, and that song's popularity is what kept me from exploring genesis for so long.
