Expecting a return to form in 2023. Already had low expectations for who they'd be able to get after last year's cancelation, so not overly disappointed
Mgk is like the perfect trash artist to conflict with another banger artist to lessen the crowd, but instead it’s gonna be herbie and the crowds dont overlap by a person
Ain’t No Picnic is right up my alley and I don’t have to travel. Plus Desert Daze this year will most likely slap but for $99 weekend passes they only need 1or 2 good acts to make it worth it, and again no travel expenses.
Somehow they managed to book some of my most wanted acts while still missing the mark almost entirely.
It’s like they booked two different fests, while neither support each other. All that said Friday could potentially be the funnest I’ve had at my 4 Roos
The Sunday top 3 is truly divine comedy, and Illenium is horrible, but other than that I can dig this. Good amount I’d want to see every day (even Thursday!)
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Willing to bet Roo doesn't book Gizz again for 5+ years and it's honestly the only thing that's got me torn
Friday looks good until I remember that a few months ago I was excited for a day at Roo with Lizzo, Tame, MMJ, Gizz, Isbell, Phoebe, Sylvan Esso, JID, Remi Wolf, Uncle Acid, Marc Rebillet, Pinegrove, and Yaeji
Fri: The Chicks Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Disclosure Lord Huron i guess TWOD King Gizz Isaiah Rashad Denzel Curry Japanese Breakfast Tove Lo? Arlo Parks LP Giobbi Maggie Rose Claud
Sat: Tool Flume Billy Strings Porter? Rebillet? Chris Lake 100 Gecs slowthai Joy Oladokun Femi Kuti Cory Henry
Sun: Stevie Rateliff HERBIE Tash? All Them Witches Tinashe Tierra Whack Lettuce Bas Sierra Ferrell (haven't listened to her but she got rave reviews at Newport Folk)
I know some people trash on him, but if you do go I really recommend seeing Marc Rebillet if possible. Saw him a few months ago and it was fun as fuck. He's super talented and it feels really good to be laughing out loud with everyone at a concert.

This Thursday is the best they’ve had in at least five years.
The Sunday is maybe the worst they’ve ever booked.
rumor has it theyre testing out some great new alcohol choices on the farm, wanna see how plastered they can have everyone by sunday and observe how our feelings about the day's lineup changes

The weird thing is I still find a decent amount I like on Sunday. MGK - Roddy Rich top line just makes it look so bad. But I still got enough there to make a day out of it.
