big congrats to Calder Allen for still maybe having played only two shows in his entire career, and apparently zero shows or any recorded music since being announced for The Who stage in 2021, and still somehow getting a lineup bump anyway
I'm surprised by big $uicideboy$ are and how small the numbers are for Porter.
I have a lot of friends that are really into $uicideboy$, I'm personally not surprised by their billing or streaming numbers. The Porter numbers are definitely surprising though

Yeah Porter has the streaming stats of a low card indie band, but has a fan base large enough to run his own festival.
It's a shame he has so few listeners after how good Nurture was, I thought that was going to really blow him up and get him Grammy nominations/a more mainstream fan base. It's one of those rare electronic albums with massive crossover appeal for pop, indie, and even rock audiences. Really creative, yet accessible.
Yeah, it's not top-heavy, but there's a lot of minority, female and female-minority representation on there down in the mid-card lower-card as well as a few LGBTQ+ acts (Moore K, Wreckno, etc.). Some of it's really good too. It's not necessarily the Top 20, but there's more than I've seen in the past.
I'll admit I see a lot of people praising the electronic part of this lineup, none of which I'm familiar with. Just disappointing after 2 years of expecting Lizzo + Meg the Stallion, with so many other similar names available and really popular right now.
I'm not super into it since I generally prefer harder shit than what most of Inforoo likes. But here are just a few names that fit that bill:
CloZee (French woman); Jesse Murph (16 year old girl); WRECKNO (LGBTQ+); VNSSA (Woman, Dirtybird I think?); Arlo Parks (black British singer); A Hundred Drums (black British dub producer); TINASHE (African-American lady Singer/Producer); Moore Kismet (non-binary/pan they/them young AA). There's more out there too, but I didn't want to belabor the point since I also agree with you about some of the missing bigger names.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
