Screenshotting is for amateurs, take a picture of it with a second phone
Look at this baller and their two phones!
Lol I actually do have two phones. My main one's ability to connect to wifi broke and I had an old one lying around. One is for texting/calling, the other is for surfing the web. I will eventually get a new single phone, but I work from home rn and am not really good anywhere with the Covid uptick.
When I first started listening to Suicide Boys, they were pretty strictly a soundcloud type, Three 6 Mafia worshipping group that had some really interesting, dark production that still bang in the car in a striaght-forward way imo.
I dooo think they may have made a slight adjustment to have like an emo theme be more of what pops to mind first. MGK fans will be there. They still have some good songs here and there. I saw them last year and it was a pretty damn strong show.
I think they're a little overhated in some circles, but admittedly they also aren't awesome. Would say more interesting than something like J Cole by a lot though.
so you know that first track antartica is just a shitty rip of deadmau5 - I remember slowed down to like 70 bpm right?
I'm curious if they're going to share more details about the superjam or that will follow on a seperate day.
This superjam reminds me of the 2015 superjam where Jack was also playing. Actually a decent amount of bands that played in 2015 are playing this year.
i think the superjam is one of the best parts of this lineup. since the 2014 skrillex superjam they were less "jam" and more "karaoke with the festival's artists." kamasi superjam in 2016 in particular was rough to me. some songs were good but a lot of people that performed just didn't have it. the 2017 soul superjam was an improvement but was still in karaoke territory. i didn't go in 2019 but i heard hobo johnson covered folsom prison blues and that's all i need to hear to know i made the right choice in not going.
2018 tom petty superjam was freaking amazing. the backing band was very good and seemed to have a reverence to put on a good tribute show. they had some great numbers with hayley williams, matt from cage the elephant, sheryl crow, japanese breakfast, justin vernon with amelia from sylvan esso, and sameer from young the giant closed the set with free fallin before the encore of everybody doing a couple of traveling wilburys songs.
if the jack antonoff 1984 superjam stays in the same lane of having great musicians cover music from a beloved artist just to put on a worthy tribute, then he can put on another great late night set that's done in the classic quirky positive bonnaroo spirit
A friend of mine saw Fleetwood Mac in 2019 and had an amazing time, though Nick's vocals can be hit or miss. With people getting older, that's always a thing that can happen.
3post1jack1 can you draw something thats like a rectangle poster with a circle in the center and the edges are sunny on the left and outer space on the right, with the lineup inside the circle

We talk about the weakness of the top 9 but fwiw the last two times Robert Plant has played Bonnaroo he was billed 5th and 6th respectively, and with the daily lineup here he’s 4th on his day (so just outside the top 9)
So without seeing everything billed together we can’t say that the three top lines of each day would constitute the overall top 9. imo
