Lizzo was going to be the first solo female to headline in 2020/21. Bonnaroo having Lizzo, Megan the Stallion, Doja Cat, Miley, Lady Gaga or another talented female in at least 1 of the 3 headliner spots would make sense.
Grew up listening to her. My parents are hippies, but man they played some dope R&B / soul too.

I’m still mad at myself fer not makin’ the effort to see her the one chance I had. I forget the exact year, but somewhere ‘round 2011/12 she did a small tour. I was livin’ back at home and goin’ to school and workin’ full time, so I think I had one of those obligations that I could not get out of (mandatory classes, or mandatory work since I had to pay over $600/month on my loan fer school).
I was also super single, and I didn’t wanna be the sad sack at a sultry Sade show.
