I can’t see her crossing the Atlantic at the end of a multiple month tour
I can see her doing a bunch NA festivals late june tbh.
aside from bonnaroo, what festivals are there in the USA in late June?
she was on the Glasto 2020 lineup, reasonable to assume she'll be back there for this year - I'd wager on her moving on to the Euro circuit after Prima
“Your”, “you’re”, and “yore” I actually pronounce normally.
At least I think so. Two of my best friends love to ridicule me fer how I pronounce the word both. They swear up and down, left and right that I say it with an l, like “bolth”.
The lack of dates tells me that they want June 9-12 but that CMA Fest has dibs on it and they're hoping that move or that they can make both happen at the same time. Otherwise, why not just announce the 16th through the 19th? Maybe they're exploring the 2nd through the 5th? Who normally goes then? Is that Gov Ball typically? They don't have announced dates yet either.
Would be a crime for them to conflict with the first weekend of prima.
And would pretty much commit murder to Bonnaroo's lineup. If there is no crossover from Prima to Roo I'll probably have to go to Prima. That lineup is just too stacked

I wouldn’t imagine there would be too much crossover anyways. You should still go to Prima tho.

"Too Stacked"
This is mentioned a lot on some other threads. Curious, who from that lineup wows you?
For me I'd like Dua Lipa (for my wife), Massive Attack, Beck, Disclosure, Jamie XX, maybe the National or the Strokes. The rest have been around for years and I have seen several times. Except for Pavement. No interest in them though. At least not yet.

For just weekend 1 cause that's when I would go
Top tier for me (haven't seen any of these):
Massive Attack, Pavement*, Charli xcx, Dinosaur Jr, Yo La Tengo*, Beck, Caribou*, Earl Sweatshirt, Jamie XX, King Gizz*, Weyes Blood*, Gorillaz, Nick Cave, Tyler, Caroline Polachek, Disclosure, King Krule
* = pretty much bucketlist act
Would very much want to see or have seen before and want to again:
Tame Impala, 100 gecs, Black Midi, Honey Dijon, Kacey Musgraves, Kim Gordon, Sharon Van Etten, Pond, The National, Autechre, Bikini Kill, Little Simz, Parquet Courts, Warpaint, Beach House, Slowthai, Black Country New Road, Jamila Woods, Rapsody, Squarepusher
Essentially almost every name whose music I'm familiar with I want to see at this fest. Its really tuned well to my tastes just lacking like jam/folk which I can get super easily near me (and wouldn't expect at a European city fest). I think my schedules would already be completely full without even looking into one artist I don't know.
Also I think its just the sheer magnitude of it. Massive Attack - Pavement - Tame Impala could easily be the top line at Bonnaroo and that's just Friday alone. A lot of the big names have hit plenty of American festivals, but I haven't seen most of them and its an opportunity to see all at once and in a new city/country.

For some reason I always thought Gov Ball was close to Roo, but apparently they're at first weekend of June oops.
they’re a jam band they don’t count besides I don’t really care about them anyways
In a more serious note, they booked Kim Petras and Yaeji so idk why it wouldn't be possible. But then again yeah, she had a lot of festivals planned in 2020 in Europe around that time (was booked for Down The Rabbit Hole early july aswell so).
