Slow down a bit and think this through. I had NO reason to fake. I was in the clear but wanted to ensure a town win. Maddog followed out of desperation. Kudos to maddog for a strong play, but it’s the classic “no I’m the inspector” bit.
I know I’m relatively new here, but my gameplay is consistently honest. I’m the mother fucking inspector.
There is still time to fix this and guarantee a town win.
Lay out a case for scenarios in which Maddog is Mafia. Who would his partners be?
Well Theo is definitely one of them. Maybe jortles is the other and he's desperate. If jortles isn't Mafia then KPO is the 3rd. Either way Maddog is MAF or town faking for no reason

I'm just thinking out loud here, probably copying what other people have done, but in my mind:
- I'm town - Teddy is oracle, Jaz reads town - Maddog and Otter have competing inspector claims, so one is mafia, with Theo - Silver and KPO are unknowns to the town
There's no reason for mafia to whack Maddog. If he's inspector, he's already got three names and the game should be in hand. Maf in this case is Silver/Theo/Otter.
If Otter is inspector, they keep him alive because otherwise it kills their chances. Otter has a chance to ask between Silver and KPO tonight and give us an answer tomorrow. This would mean that mafia is Theo/Maddog along with KPO/Silver with an outside chance at Jortles. It's possible Jaz is involved as well but that's further down the line to me.
I would normally think that we shouldn't whack an inspector who has revealed, but I think we are at the point now where we have to shoot our shot.
