I was just assuming we’d use the same rules as before
I think we changed the rules though, as far as self saving, repeat saving.
How does this sound.
- Can name the same player multiple times (not included yourself) - can only send in yourself once - doctor becomes normal townie after a save - town gets two exiles after a save
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Wouldn’t that make it so that the doctor role only has positive utility if they’re able to not only save correctly (the inspector) but also has to do so on the SAME night Maf tries to whack that person?
In every other instance it would just be a townie for a townie, total net neutral

just came back home from a cookout, lil bit TiPsY but i thinkkkk i can explain this decently enough lol
so ofc the ideal position for the Doc is to save the inspector on the same night that maf tries to whack them. but as we played it before, Doc could *also* happen to save a regular ole townie the same night that Maf tries to whack that townie, and it still saves them even though they're not inspector. And although it isn't as great as saving inspector, it DOES keep a townie alive. That's a net positive.
what you're suggesting wouldn't create net positive result for any scenario other than the [relatively unlikely] instance where Doc saves Inspector same night Maf tries to whack them--for any other townie, we'd be trading 1 for 1 if Doc died during the save
