I think the post where he spooked people was the one where he said exile Maddog now and work on me voters later. Jortles is in that category, and I am convinced he is mafia. Maddog may be the third, but I'm watching a few others in that position too.

I still haven't decided whether I believe Silv or not--there are things about him being True Inspector that do make sense and other things that really don't, same re: Theo. I have gone back and forth on it, and obviously Potent has made it clear that he doesn't believe Silv, but other than the two of us, I think the consensus is, "we have no reason to doubt an uncontested reveal so ofc Silv is telling the truth."
Here's the thing tho: 1) It is 149--I honestly would not be surprised if Team Maf decided to try out something wacky for the hell of it, pregaming for 150, especially if that crew includes Silv 2) Two hours passed between my suggesting inspector come out since we've got the cover of Doctor & Silv revealing. He said he wanted to wait til he was back from work, that's all good and fine sure, but the reality is that during those 2 hrs, literally all 9 alive players checked in. If he's Maf, he had time to gauge that no one else was about to reveal, which leads me to... 3) Of course it would be risky for him to fake here in D2 when they weren't sure if Theo was inspector, but it just honestly wouldn't surprise me in the least if a Maf Silv decided to go for this for funsies, knowing he might have to deal with the real inspo countering, and that that was a fine potential factor of the plan.
All of that said, of course he might be truthing and everything is as it seems etc etc. But I just wanted to lay that thought process out since most of y'all seem to find it absolutely insane to even considering he's faking.

It's not so much that it's insane to think he's faking. I'm just wondering what our path to victory is if he is, and I don't think anyone is really articulating that, just handwringing about the possibility it's a fake. And if Theo is Inspo and KPO is Town, we're pretty much fucked, like Dan and I said yesterday. Some dots are going to need to get connected real quick if we're gonna turn that around.

To your first point I really don’t think anyone playing would be up in the maf thread like “yoooooo it’s 149 let’s get crazy before 150”. If they are trying something crazy, I don’t think it’s bc of the game number.
To the bolded part, the logic swings both ways. He clearly didn’t want to reveal but when you start talking about power roles day two you kinda forced his hand. So your essentially forcing his hand and blaming him for playing it under conditions he didn’t want to.

Been going back and forth on sharing my thoughts but I figure I should at least leave some info since it seems potent doesnt wanna save me. I think the best group to look at, as said before, is Teddy, Jaz, and Pablo. All three on Rummy on day one, and all 3 on KPO before we all switched onto him. No question in my mind that at least one of these boys is mafia.

Gonna go with partial reasoning for why I guessed Jortles and assume at least one mafia member is on Maddog for distancing. That would be KPO, Rummy, or Dan.
Nothing, just interesting that all 3 of you are voting together again. I guess I could draw a line that KPO is probably town since a voting group that moved with maddog last round was on him earlier
