I initially cast my vote for Tranter as a day one random pick - but then he moved onto me, so I kept it there. I do think his "pure vibes" reasoning for why Carini & KPO are town seems a little suspect, because I've played dozens of mafia games and I've never gotten a good read on a person in day one, let alone two people. I'm not saying that he is or isn't mafia, just that some of his behaviour strikes me as odd. So I'm keeping my vote where it is, and hopefully it'll go to another runoff and give us a bit more to go off of.
about half the players here have been playing with one another a looooooot the past year+, and speaking for myself i know there have definitely been Day Ones where i acquired a strong gut read that ended up being correct.
however. this is my first "mega game" on the board, and i am very cognizant of how this D1 feels a lot harder to try to make reads during than a standard 11 person game (especially when it is 11 folks who play with each other frequently). so yeah, in the context of *this* game, i agree it is too soon, but i don't think that's always the case

People were talking about gut feelings with the recent games being good. My recollection of older games is that gut feelings were usually wrong. That's all.

I'm not sure why Jortles was/is advocating for saving myself or Maddog, but interesting that then Maddog's the one to move his vote.
Also interesting that the voters for me are more or less the opposite of Maddog's, prior to his vote Theo was the only regular player voting for me.

Nah, wasn't trying to make a connection with you and Jortles. I just hadn't thought through the position you were in at the time. Your move was pretty appropriate in retrospect.
I do think some of the push to vote me off is due to that fact that I'm being more talkative than I almost ever am on D1, so I imagine that might raise some eyebrows for the Mafia.
