I think you are confused on what random really means.
I have no issue with you following Ella's vote, I was just wondering if it was only this time, and JR was included in the concern
yeah it’s random between JR and Ella. I just went with the name I saw first lol. I figured your question was implying that I didn’t vote alongside JR for some reason.
My thinking is you were referring on who the vote landed on as random, not Ella vs JR random. Now I understand you

How long did mafia 100 take? It’s been 10 days and we have one exile lol
Addendum to my previous answer - 1 player alone had over 20% of the total posts and only lasted 2 game days so imo precedent for 25 player game is around 80 pages.

12 Eastern tomorrow.
Fine with not targeting a certain size runoff but I think it's important to start with two votes on everyone going in so that there will be more rounds of voting for the Inspector to observe.
Just catching up and it felt overdue for an “otter’s notes” post (patent pending). In general, I found D1 to be difficult. D2 feels familiar. But here are my early notes:
As for whoever (potent? Silver? I forget) posted about me playing different, I have no idea what they’re talking about or how they could deduce that from my D1 posts. So it goes. Someone else found this sus. They were right and I’m highlighting it for the group.
I think Tranter is playing frenetic. Frenetic Tranter has been a town tell for him based on my limited experience.
Maddog’s also an early town read for me. I voted for him because he played me for a fool in an earlier round, but time to move on. I’m off him for now. The avatar change is messing with me though.
Potent hopped around a lot. I can’t begin to pretend to know what that means, but Carini defended him for it. DaBobby then defended Carini. This felt a bit strange to me, but I hesitate to put too much into anything from D1.
KPO still seems At least a little sus to me and I want them in the runoff. But Like Tranter, I’m also looking for people who seemed to just hop on votes and hope that some votes can bring people into the game. I don’t like voting for people that I’ve never played with already, but ...

Was thinking of moving to Travis because I'm worried he's getting a pass as a player we don't play with as much, but otter has already moved to rooloo.

I was actually trying to be the one creating movement with the Jaz vote to hopefully give us more info down the road, someone had just happened to vote right when I was writing mine so it looked like I was riding their coattails. But I did mention that at the time. Me switching from stacking Silver to stacking Tranter doesn't seem like it's worth any attention, but whatevz

part A of this feels very "lol wut"
He said something similar in response to me last round. Without the Otter vote it would have been 12-10, so not that out of the ordinary. The reasoning is pretty shaky but it's plausible his intentions were good.
Not sure if I said this at the time but I don't really buy mafia pushing someone in the runoff that high up to try and save someone. Without Carini and me moving the tally would have been 14-10. lol That seems silly. If there was mafia votes in that time period either some wild distancing for whatever reason or it was an attempt to cause the town to overreact and swing the other way. I've advocated voting like this several times when I've been mafia. Results very. Not saying that's what happened here. I kinda doubt it with mostly new players involved. Just saying that's really the only mafia plays I can really see there.
I've been working night to day this weekend. Keeping up but having really had a chance to read over things like I'd like to. Will vote here in a bit.

Having said that, nine seems good again? There seems to be a clear path to go 9 > 5 > 3 > 2 > 1
I feel like distance votes are either too much in occurance (like 5 mafia voting for each other at a time) or too little, possibly none, that I feel like it's too early to get really into that. pools just way too big.
I do think the smart thing for them to do would be to not vote for each other as much as possible because they outnumber inspector 7 to 1, so for now I'm just going to assume they're not distancing and focus more on people without votes after each initial wave and the people who have 1 vote and drop out
Finally had some time to reread and digest D1. I have no reason to believe either way whether Jaz is or isn't mafia, but the sea of votes on him in the final round of D1 was certainly strange. Could be similar to the situation last game where everyone just stacked on Maddog and mafia was willing to do the sacrifice on him, which as inspector with the name of one of those stackers confused the hell out of me. It didn't matter anyways since I was killed N1, just something I noticed. Teddy and Dan have both been pretty fluffy with their posts, though that's kinda normal for both of them, but they're both solid names to take a look at. KPO also is playing weirdly, just randomly going after people on D1 which I sort of respect but also doesn't really help at all at the same time, so I don't know. JR, LLL, and SFA all are from a different mafia era coming back for this one, and it was pretty fascinating watching them do their opening vote sequence with votes for each other, almost like they're playing a completely different game to the one that all the recent players have played. I don't have a clue how to read any of these moves so I guess I'll just wait to see if anything results of that. Gonna vote Teddy to start here because he fluffed a lot D1 and his vote for me on D2 doesn't help his case for me.
Theo > Teddy
You've played in at least one game with LLL and Me. I'm not even sure if JR played back when we did voting pairs? He's played a long time but maybe not that long? Anyway, LLL and I have voted that way for over a decade. I don't think we've ever took part in voting each other off in the first round in all that time? We usually always move by the end of the round. Regardless of roles it's not really something we do with any strategy in mind. It's just tradition.
