Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Also kind of interesting to see how everyone being put into the runoff has been relatively active while people we've barely heard from at all are cruising through without receiving any votes
I don’t think this is an issue really. There’s like 7 or 8 people I’d consider “quiet” this game and out of all of them, I have no reason to choose one over the other. I’d rather stick my vote on someone (you lol) who I have a post history for than taking a shot in the dark.
I'm voting with the same mindset as you (you), but probably good to have a mix. looks like we will have at least one with Travis being thrown in

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

gotta be at least one in this batch of losers (+potent)
think silvers post about otter playing different was weird, definitely hasn't played enough games with a specific pattern to have this easily placed vibe (he's allowed himself to be killed d1 as oracle, and made it to d3 as inspector, things to me that aren't predictable)
but that also makes me feel a certain way about otter/kpo as well because he's not opposed intra team fighting as a ploy
First of all, why did you add me to this list? Second of all, way to go out on a limb. I, too, can name six random players in the game and probably get a mafia.
First, I already with more detail in previous post laid out why I thought the 7 people (you were included at the time) voting for me felt more coordinated than the rest.
Second, you literally pull random groups of people and go out on a limb every game. god forbid we look to a group you didn't highlight.
Truevine > Tranter Pablo > Teddy Rooloo > Silver LD > Potent Ella > Pablo Carini > KPO Silver > Otter JR > LD Rummy > Theo KPO > Silver Alex > JR Teddy > Theo Tranter > Pablo
Potent > LD
Pablo > Teddy > KPO
rooloo > Silver > Tranter
Otter > KPO Theo > Teddy Dan > Theo Tranter > Pablo > rooloo Otter > KPO > rooloo SFA > Travisty LLL > Pablo Dan > Theo > Silver Jortles > Silver Dan > Theo > Silver > Travis MD > Rummy Rummy > Theo > Teddy
so just going over the meta, all 7 people on me are recent players (w LD sort of being on the fringe of playing recently)
the rest have a much greater blend of old/new
have sort of been thinking the meta re to being this sort of mix and how that comes out, stuff like Potents Rummys turn (it was and he didn't this game), Kanye/tranter bickering, jortles being horny, SFA/LLL vote partners, quiet Carini, etc.
think the average on each is roughly 2 mafia voting per each r/o participant, but mine on surface feels more deliberate, because there's way less randomness to it, like me not knowing at all who ellabelle or travisty are
Now your vote makes much more sense from a meta perspective. It's wrong, but it made no sense that you listed 7 people you thought were sus and then voted for Rummy. And I say this having no idea what Rummy's role is.
I think the thing about votes being "coordinated" on you is weird, but I won't tell you how you should feel.

Also, this is for everyone in the game - if you have a vote, and you switch your vote, please indicate that in the vote. It's confusing as hell when you're trying to gather 23 players votes for a tally and someone votes "x > y" and then later in the same round votes "x > z". It's a lot cleaner if you include the switches.

I find it odd that Teddy voted for Theo, Theo reciprocated for Teddy, Rummy initially voted Theo, but then switched her vote to Teddy. Now Teddy is slated for the runoff, and Theo is saved.

I said I was probably gonna move off Theo back when he was at 3, unnecessarily stacked. Then someone else moved off him this morning, Dan I do believe, but I was def about to receive some major flack from Pablo if I didn’t stick to my word on switching. Theo’s annoyance at being in the exile position last night struck me as defensive townish but I could be gauging that wrong ofc

I voted for rummy because on the 2nd day she received no votes.

yeah I gotta be better about that, I'm more than likely doing the >> if I'm moving vs first vote

As for whoever (potent? Silver? I forget) posted about me playing different, I have no idea what they’re talking about or how they could deduce that from my D1 posts. So it goes. Someone else found this sus. They were right and I’m highlighting it for the group.
Potent hopped around a lot. I can’t begin to pretend to know what that means, but Carini defended him for it. DaBobby then defended Carini. This felt a bit strange to me, but I hesitate to put too much into anything from D1.
If you are going to comment about someone's comment on you, you should probably reference it directly. It bothers me that you thought it might have been me. I did not say anything about your style whatsoever. I think "playing different" observations are the worst observations one can make in a mafia game, and I think that's especially true on D2 of a 25 person game.

Looking through the rules. There are no auto-extensions in this game, correct?
I had been reffing like there was. I know there was a round where I did give an auto-extension. I may've not copied it over to this OP when I was making the OP for this game.
Finally had some time to reread and digest D1. I have no reason to believe either way whether Jaz is or isn't mafia, but the sea of votes on him in the final round of D1 was certainly strange. Could be similar to the situation last game where everyone just stacked on Maddog and mafia was willing to do the sacrifice on him, which as inspector with the name of one of those stackers confused the hell out of me. It didn't matter anyways since I was killed N1, just something I noticed. Teddy and Dan have both been pretty fluffy with their posts, though that's kinda normal for both of them, but they're both solid names to take a look at. KPO also is playing weirdly, just randomly going after people on D1 which I sort of respect but also doesn't really help at all at the same time, so I don't know. JR, LLL, and SFA all are from a different mafia era coming back for this one, and it was pretty fascinating watching them do their opening vote sequence with votes for each other, almost like they're playing a completely different game to the one that all the recent players have played. I don't have a clue how to read any of these moves so I guess I'll just wait to see if anything results of that. Gonna vote Teddy to start here because he fluffed a lot D1 and his vote for me on D2 doesn't help his case for me.
Theo > Teddy
You've played in at least one game with LLL and Me. I'm not even sure if JR played back when we did voting pairs? He's played a long time but maybe not that long? Anyway, LLL and I have voted that way for over a decade. I don't think we've ever took part in voting each other off in the first round in all that time? We usually always move by the end of the round. Regardless of roles it's not really something we do with any strategy in mind. It's just tradition.
As I recall, LLL started playing again before you came back and I voted for her, which turned into a "new voting partner" joke, which I kept up until you came back, then things just got weird.
Also kind of interesting to see how everyone being put into the runoff has been relatively active while people we've barely heard from at all are cruising through without receiving any votes

Is it still a common thing for mafia to have at least 1-2 quiet members? I remember voting out quiet people because the mafia ratio was higher there, and it removed non-contributors as a bonus.
