I feel like the people stacked on Tranter and Rummy need to back down, and the people single or double stacked need to consider moving their votes. I think the 8 way runoff is ideal, but don't think it's worth much time talking about that.

Curious why people keep getting pushed up to 3 and 4 votes when we are trying to make an 7/8/9 person runoff. Seems like it‘s narrowing down options as people rush to even things out.
Curious why people keep getting pushed up to 3 and 4 votes when we are trying to make an 7/8/9 person runoff. Seems like it‘s narrowing down options as people rush to even things out.
3 votes each for 8 people leaves one revote, feel like that's what we should be going for

yeah, I guess getting to that point forces plenty of voting. Then people will have to change around to create the second runoff. I guess, in mind, starting the first runoff of a huge game with just one forced revote seems a little light on potential info. However, the moving and shaking tells us a lot too.
Guess I’ll look to change my vote here in a bit once I figure out the current standings.

I think it's better to have more revotes than that, though the alternative is having 8 people with two votes and then 9 people with one vote. It would look a little silly in the tally but I think that's preferable.

I guess it depends on how much influence people allow revoters to have. But yes, generally people tend to be more passive when they've already got their vote in place.
That seems logical but making people move to 3 now I guess serves a similar function. I don't know if I'm a stickler on having more revoters because it's what I'm used to or I actually believe we'd get more data with traditional revotes. I do feel like the votes count more when there's more at stake and the field is narrowed. So there's likely more value to be gained there looking back at this round.
