I kinda forgot Theo was playing. I did think about it when looking at post counts. Seems he went quite after KPO?
Dan was talking about giving weird reasons for votes and that's where I am with Potent. I didn't really want to reciprocate on him in the earlier rounds but the reasons he's given to vote for me are interesting. It's not just that he was incorrect with one of his reasons the first time. It's that when I pointed it out he tried to turn it around on me like it was further proof he was on to something. Then he tries to link LLL, Jack and I with some poorly thought out "only old school folks would know" reasoning. As if there aren't plenty of other players the same idea would apply to.
At some point I've got to consider if he's trying to create a narrative. Also, so much of this game makes no sense.
sort of think something not being talked about enough is Carini not being the whack yet
Pablo, LD, otter, just blind shots at doctor/vig?
I guess you could think they could hold out to whack him last if KPO was inspector, but it runs the risk of narrowing the pool of possible mafia.
I thought of this and almost posted about it. But I chocked it up to them looking to kill Dr and vig first. If this were a smaller game, I would have really pressed this issue.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I'm trying to think of different cleavages in the vote patterns that we can look at to provide groups of 6-8 people thinking that there's probably at least one mafia in that group. One group I think makes sense to look at is those who have not moved their vote today since the initial casting of said vote. This gives us a group of six, so I am betting that there is at least one mafia in this group. Again - the idea is that with 23 players left, 17 of us have moved our vote off the initial D2 vote, and 6 have not. Those six: Carini, Ella, LLL, JR, KPO, Jortles. I think KPO is especially jarring as being more active than the others. I would tend, this early, to give a pass to LLL based on the reasons she has stated for lesser involvement (and I'm not going to fault someone on vacation).
I think everyone is focused on ZIG's posts about Carini voters and "too early" comments, but I think another post that has sort of gone under the radar is the post he made saying that we needed as many vote switches as possible for the inspector (and referencing this usefulness in M100). I'm not quite sure if ZIG was the first person to reference inspector (or the only on D1) but that comment sticks out to me a bit as something that may have caught mafia's eye. The six I've listed above are not helping the town's cause with their static votes.
I think we want to maximize the number of rounds and that means two-vote runoff members
We need to force as many players into Revotes as possible over the first couple days. This way we provide as much data to the inspector as possible. IIRC in M100, that data proved valuable post-reveal
There was your "look townie" move in day 1 where you took your vote off me to even up a runoff then went right back to me the following round. How am I sure it is a mafia looking like a townie move? I did the exact same thing in mafia 100 as mafia with you on day 1.
Finally and most importantly, you opened a restaurant 2 blocks from my old apartment and directly along my daily commute without telling me. I would have taken a pic and posted it but I don't want to dox you

I thought it was weird until I looked back at the list that details during which days we need to have ___ # mafia alive for the game to continue. In a standard game, it’d be weird as hell, but in this one , Maf has time. They were def gunning to kill off the other roles first

SFA >>> Potent
My mistake on you not making a runoff is totally fair. I remember it differently about you pointing it out but I could be remembering it incorrectly (what I remember is that you threw a fit without saying why it was wrong and I think Maddog was the one who pointed it out - again, I could be wrong, I've been playing a lot from my phone and find it tougher to remember things).
The LD thing frankly I feel is pretty clear. You, LLL, Jack have been playing the longest, with LD. I think Jaz is probably next (though Ella may predate him). You and LLL in my memory have told stories about crazy things he used to do that most players in this game have never seen (Dexter, faking inspector as town). I could be wrong that you are mafia, I could be wrong in my suspicion of LLL (I'm almost definitely wrong on at least one of you) but I think my reasons make sense. Just because they make sense doesn't mean everyone, or anyone, will agree with them.
Also this one where you totally misrepresented ZIG's post. Specific parts I'm referring to are in bold:
Here is Zig's post on forcing revotes:
There was your "look townie" move in day 1 where you took your vote off me to even up a runoff then went right back to me the following round. How am I sure it is a mafia looking like a townie move? I did the exact same thing in mafia 100 as mafia with you on day 1.

what the fuck are you talking about?
How is that a misrepresentation of what ZIG said?
Maybe you should take another long hiatus.

Which part?

He said to focus on forcing revotes, you misrepresented it to say look at those players who never switched their votes. Totally different
Maybe you should take another long hiatus.
I am. I'm Only playing this one because I said I would before I announced said hiatus. You on the other hand said you were taking one and didn't...

what the fuck are you talking about with the restaurant and doxxing me?
You also are not reading what I said re ZIG. He said we needed vote switches to help inspector. I agree with that, so said the people who didn't switch votes were worth looking at because they didn't pitch in.
I'm interested in this "piling on KPO" piece - can you expand a bit more of your thinking on this?
Well, Piling on is strong, and hyperbole when referencing some voters. But you have to admit that what happened Day two was a little shady. It is actually Ella and Trav who "Piled on" rather than even their votes out to make a sound run-off. This forced the KPO reveal. But with KPO being Inspector, it is hard to tell who had what motives. Carini and LD aside.
Vote Tally
KPO - 7 (Carini, Teddy, LD, Tranter, Truevine, Ella, Trav)
Capn had not voted at this point, but this really but KPO in a bad spot, and with two in a row going his way to get him there. Seems like it could be a concerted effort by some players who started to get hip to his role. Or at least something to consider.
this is helpful. Quoting on my phone I can't really see much but it stands out that everyone on Silver is dead except Rooloo, but also only one is possibly mafia (Jortles I think).

There is a new restaurant on 7th ave between 26th and 27th streets with your last name in the title. I have no idea now comfortable you are having everyone reading this knowing that info. I keep meaning to send you a pic for laughs but every time I notice and remember I'm running to not miss my train.

I'm missing the part where he spoke of switching votes. This referrs to end of round revoters

Yeah none of that has to do w vote switches, its about not ending rounds early and making sure we maximize the Rnd X > Rnd Y # of revotes

Mafia 150 is getting turnt up this Friday night and the best I can do is a therapeutic dose of Xanax because I have to coach grown adults on how they can poop when they wake me up on the nurse’s line at 3am. Jealous.
