No I don't believe so. How the rules are written makes me think there has to be an exile every day whether they are voted off or a auto-exile.
Playing devils advocate here, but the rules say a tied day ends in forfeiting the exile. Was this only talking about the final day? Because that doesn't seem like an even application of the rules.

I'm about 6 white claws deep and way more invested into mafia than I have been in ages. I'm trying to help town to a fucking W, so much that I actually grabbed my computer and have 4 different tabs open.
Rummy seems to be the best bet here (not that I'm convinced Cap'n is innocent). I've harped on the circle of trust thing several times in the last few days (carini knows what I'm talking about), and I'm really thinking Rummy could be the lynchpin of the whole operation. Go back to D3, Rummy had the deciding vote, planted it on Truevine instead of Jortles, got into a tiff with Pablo, pablo says she's sus, Rummy votes truevine even though after the fact plenty of people seem convinced the maf in that situation was Jortles, pablo (and jortles, thanks vig) wakes up dead, nobody even considers pablo's push at her and she doesn't get another vote until today. That's around the same time that rummy/LLL/dan/potent start eh process of sucking each other's dicks about how town they all are (page 53ish). Rummy hasn't done a ton of work since then, just posting fluff about group chats and being drunk and totally not mafia she swears. It bugs me that nobody else has questioned her act, the thing a few hours ago about how dan could slap her if she's wrong just doesn't sit right with me at all. Looking back at page 55, the way Dan waves off rummy suspicion makes me super sus of both of them, circle of trust bullshit amok. There's a lot of talk in the pages surrounding that about mafia misdirection, but sometimes mafia does the obvious thing they need to do and play it off as misdirection, it's happened a ton in the last dozen games or so. Even at that point, Rummy kept talking about how inncoent she was. Dan made a comment on page 56 that said "if rummy is maf I feel pretty comfortable that I will be able to sus it out" which days later screams collusion to me. She tries soon after to force rooloo to admit his role, which is always sketch behavior. (quick note, ella sounds into the idea of a mercy kill on page 59, which gives me a sliiiiight town lean)
Ugh, the middle part of this game has so much stunted growth from the autoexiles and such. And to be fair, all of my read tonight I came from a bias of looking for evidence that rummy is literally don corleone.

this is a game changing moment in one direction or the other. I don't like it at all, and it makes rummy look a wee bit manipulative and/or dan might be in on the whole thing. I'm way more suspcisious of rummy being tha manipulator than i am of dan being in on it though.
tldr; rummy had the closing vote and chose to not use it on jortles, pablo said she's sus, pablo gets whacked, rummy doesn't say a goddamn useful thing for the next two weeks, dan defends her to the end of the earth

Teddy and Ella runoff is idea to me here. If you wanna throw me in whatever, but just know you’d be killing the most transparent player in the game.
Does your transparency include the 5 pages or whatever where you took a vow of silence after the biggest development of the game occurred? That's a super weird thing, looking back on it.

I think, at least early on, random votes were going to occur without reasons. Now we are deep into the game, there should be reasons given or people should be asked as a follow up. In my opinion.

Looking at Rummy's vote pattern, if you just look at tallies it looks like she ends up with her mafia partner Silver voting for Carini on D1. A deeper look shows that Silver opened up voting for Tranter, but then switched to "save" Tranter when Capn and Truevine both voted him in succession (D1R1). It's totally believable that he would switch onto someone (very early on confirmed at town, Carini). I switched off to preserve the runoff, but Silver wasn't worried about a runoff when he did that. There were lots of other ways that he could have gone with his vote. This is a reason to not rule out Rummy as mafia.

I just realized tomorrow is the last day in the game. We have to go Ella here I feel like. It’s going to 4 people in a do or die situation. If Ella is maf that’s gonna make day 11 way more stressful than it needs to be. She’s basically a complete unknown. Meanwhile as we put knives on each other’s throat she just sits back and coasts.
If she’s passive town and we lose by exiling her here, that’d be rly lame.

by the game, do you mean this game? Or Mafia in general? Cuz it's definitely the most I've put into 150 so far, but I've done long posts in previous games in late game scenarios, never really been a fan of D2 novels. As for the idea that someone else wrote it for me, I'm pretty sure I've got a fairly unique style of writing that can be seen through that whole post.
And yeah, it might actually be the most effort I've ever put into inforoo Mafia, but it's fucking 150, special effort for a special game, I gotta try to figure this shit out and help bring the town a well-deserved W

This is a good point, but we tie all the time at the end of rounds...
I do think that rule was meant for the final die, because there isn't a way for there to be a tie in the final round in normal circumstances without someone missing a vote.

Also Rummy 500 don't act like it was just D1 I used. Teddy has just examined your vote to exile Truevine over Jortles, and Pablo calling you sus then being whacked. I looked at D1 data to try to clear you and found myself unable to do that.
Who do you think the dead mafia are currently in addition to Silver/SFA?
