OK, so, if I want to get into Goose pre-Roo, what should I listen to? I started the 2021.11.21 Denver, CO live record that's on Tidal, and the first couple of tracks were decent, but is there, like, a fan-favorite live recording that's a good starting point?
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
UPCOMING SHOWS 4/4 - Young Fathers @ Brooklyn Steel 5/14 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ Forest Hills Stadium 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills Stadium 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/13 - The War on Drugs/The National @ Forest Hills Stadium

Jamband heresy but I recommend listening to their latest studio album, Shenanigans Nite Club. It's really good.
Generally "Alive and Well" is recommended though. It's where I started.
They also have all of their live shows on Bandcamp, and a ludicrous amount of full concerts on YouTube.
Popped my Goose cherry tonight in Louisville. Great show, but venue was oversold. I’m a townie yocal but don’t think I will go back to Paristown Hall for a show that requires stanky leg dancing. Have fun in Pittsburgh tomorrow night!
If the shows at 8 , what time do they come on 8? How early would y’all recommend getting there. It is sold out.
I'm pretty sure they came out at 8:30 for the Louisville show. But it was sold out as well and so damn crowded. We planted ourselves near the front around 7 after a quick visit to the merch line. Had a great spot until we tried to get a drink at halftime. Then the crowd push forced us back from like 4th row to 20-25th. That sucked.
My advice would be to definitely hold your spot at the set break through thick and thin, lol.

Luckily we aren’t the biggest drinkers. I’ll make sure not to move during set break. I haven’t been to a show since LCD in Brooklyn in December. Ready to dust off these old knees. Probably gonna snag some merch before the show too.
anybody gonna go to Beale Street Music Fest to catch them?
that's the closest/easiest place for me to see them before Roo and im wondering if itd be worth it. they're decently far down the day by day lineup so im just unsure how long theyll even get to play

T-minus seven days until my and alawre's first venture into a Goose show. Tickets in Knoxville are at "low ticket warning" levels but not sold out as of yet. I am hoping weather is decent bc the venue has a patio that is probably bigger than the venue, and you can still hear pretty well out there. Comes in handy if the crowd starts feeling like too much.
