This crap doesn't even deserve it's own thread anymore. Not sure how you go from what they had in 2017 (and even up to 2021) to what they had last year and now this. To top it off, GA prices will range from $239 - $289 and VIP is $999. This is one of the wealthiest areas of the country so people will actually pay that for a VIP that provides nothing but viewing advantages. It used to include food and drink but they got rid of that and increased the price. And people will probably still go.

am i the only person that actually likes the pilgrimage lineup?
It’s not terrible in a vacuum. My problem is the year over year overall decline coupled with price increases. We might still go but will definitely be spur of the moment now as opposed to buying well in advance like we normally would. Fortunately we didn’t buy blind this year. Learned our lesson after last years lineup shift.
No idea. And Oprah had the Essence Festival which was the same as this but way more balanced. Its kind of embarrassing that they had to specify a charity fund is fronting the money for Lauryn Hill to even perform?

In all likelihood, a charity fund is fronting the money for Lauryn Hill to NOT perform

Such an interesting lineup lol. Friday would be fun to go and get quacked up at and the other days aren’t too bad for me with Dayglow, Demi, Ruby Waters, PtM, and Brittany Joward. Will depend on what the Breakaway lineup looks like.
How do you have Pitbull and Demi Lovato as two of your headliners and then freaking Caamp as the third
Demi makes perfect sense as they’ve had a pop female headliner most years and this festival benefits children’s mental health research, a subject that Demi is very involved with.

idk if this is necessarily the right thread for this one but I'm pretty stoked that this is coming to Milwaukee (an hour from me/where my parents live). It's not the perfect metal fest but I think they did a great job getting a good undercard as well as just about as strong of "mainstream" headliners as you could get for a metal festival. Think it would have looked a little better with a Mastodon or Opeth or something but hopefully it does well enough that they bring it back next year
only major knock is that it's very expensive (~$400 for 3-day passes)
That clump of Gatecreeper/Unearth/Body snatcher/Sanguisugabogg/Vended/Dying Wish on Sunday is so fucking cool
that plus High Command, Fuming Mouth, and Hath at the bottom give Sunday the strongest undercard for me, which is good because Machine Head is definitely the worst of the top acts. Hope there’s some good counter programming at the end of the night

If they have to write the name in a normal font in parentheses underneath, maybe your metal font is a little too stupid.
