Despite having quite a few friends in the LA concert scene, I don't know a single person who's ever gone to Beachlife, which I chalked up to not hanging out with enough wealthy coastal parents whose idea of a day at the beach is sitting in a beach chair with an umbrella and a magazine and never even dipping their toes in the water. The fact that the Sunday is appealing to me means I am well on my way to becoming one of those middle-aged coastal beach chair loungers. (Odds are I'll spend my money on JLH instead, though.)

Green River is a super cool little festival, saw FJM in 2022 play a solo set and it felt super intimate even though he was headlining. Prob gonna do the Fleet foxes day this yr.
if you ever decide you want to go, you've got a place to stay. I'd love to see you again! The venue is great and the night balloons/glow launch is fun but the rest of the balloons launch pretty early in the morning. I can see them from my house so I try to get up early when I'm in town. The rest of the festival is ok I guess, it's just a lot of wine moms and drunk dads in the afternoon with kids running amuck. Every once in a while they even book some fun acts.
This always seems to happen during cruel world or JLH so I haven't been in a bunch of years.
