if this turns out to be true, i'll be VERY glad that I spent a couple months binging every season of BBCAN. season 5 was a mini all-stars and it was really good. there are so many other players that I would love to see come back.
happy bbcan premiere day! trying to be excited about this, despite the unfortunate changes. episodes will be tuesday (7pm et), wednesday (9pm et) and thursday (7pm et) this year. you can watch live here, though the stream can be spotty at times. watch episodes the next day here with a vpn set to canada.
sad to see amal go. bbcan is fully obsessed with kevin, the statue was so funny. already over the bros and need zach to go soon. way too much spon con so far.

Just finished Wednesday and I like the last man standing thing. 3 noms is an interesting twist and I hope they keep it a few weeks. BBCAN is good at keeping the game fresh from season to season.

Did anyone else watch the daily thingy? It took too long to get interesting so I fell asleep and then watched the recap from Taran this morning lol. Apparently there's a youtube channel that uploads it without ads, which will be a MUST going forward because they were very annoying. Especially when I had the volume cranked for whispers and then got a winners ad dropped on me mid-convo.
Who do you like on first impression? (I'm still fully needing to look at the cast photos to get their names right)
I like Kuzi, Daniel, and Renee as humans. I think Shanaya and Roberto could go far (major jacey lynn & geno vibes early on, but hard to tell if the crush is two sided). JM is messy but entertaining

I hope so too! It'll be hard not to kind of have a bit of a dropoff from last season's amazingness. Same for US, I'd imagine. Speaking of BBCAN10, I love that Kevin will be a regular recapper with Taran! He seemed a little reserved on his first recap but hope he'll get more comfy as time goes on

so, some quick thoughts
Zach doesn't bother me nearly as much as his intro video did. I think he was humbled and even said something about expecting to be top dog and realizing he's 3rd or 4th at best. at least it shows he has the ability to be hunble. I also kind of like his flirt mance with Renee.
JM probably made a mistake saying he's go after the bros to... the bros. we'll see how that works for him.
Daniel C is a lot of fun.
Jonathan is definitly a newfie fisherman. gotta have one every year it seems, but I don't mind
Shanaya is fun. she reminds of Amanda from the Challenge but hasn't been quite as sinister yet. we'll see!
Roberto is everything. my god, what a man.
Vaenssa is a huge personality. so many costumes, outfits, lots of fun. she's the one that will get the house to play mafia/werewolf/coyote it appears. Sarah Beth vibes but a lot more extra.
Kuzie has the attitude but I haven't seen it come across in the dailes yet. maybe she's laying low?
Anika, Claudia, Renee, and Hope still haven't done enough to draw my attention yet. I guess we'll see how things go with week 2.

I tried to be optimistic about the dailies maybe saving me some time staring at people sleeping, but I just feel like I have no idea who these HGs are. The engagement is gone. Hope US BB never does this shit, and that BBCAN reverses course as soon as they can (I would forgive them if they even did it mid-season!).

It's such a wild trajectory to drop the ball so hard after the pinnacle of BBCAN with last season's finale. Like, I don't think it's possible to fumble this hard unintentionally lol. Did Winners go under or something???
well tonight's episode did nothing to ease my worries. zach sucks so bad.
I know it's early but unless something really gets shaken up this season is looking like it's going to suck hard.
Also I LOL'd because the weird yelling cadence Santina read the Wendy's breakfast info with made it sound like EVERYONE was going to get Wendy's breakfast at first and they got so hype. And then when she finished the sentence they got noticeably less hype.
losing two of the actual fans of the show right away is a real bummer. the ty and claudia outside in the snow scene made me nauseous. why did they show santina finding a secret thing then just cut away and never mention it again? this season is so weird. hoh:
