I need another insane weekend from Mike Evans and Mike Williams. My RB situation is fucked with Barkley out. I don't like that I cant drop a first rounder even when he is injured.

The NFL doesn't have snake drafts and redraft every year.
There's also free agency in the NFL, which FAB emulates. In the NFL, all free agents aren't put on waivers every week. That's not emulating the NFL at all.
It's a competitive game and mid-season parity should not be a concern. The teams that are bad don't need to be punished, just not given priority. Someone getting a league-winning player because they went 0-2 to start is not something that I'd like to happen. That doesn't happen in the real NFL.

Why on Earth would a league-winning player be on the waiver wire in a non guillotine situation? But in the NFL the worst team does get the first crack at waived players.

Sometimes running backs get hurt. Then another running back on that running back's team gets a lot of work and is really good in fantasy.
Also, players just break out. That's usually more common in the first few weeks. Odell Beckham Jr's rookie season comes to mind.
I know the worst team gets the first crack at waived players. They don't get the first crack at every single free agent. And in fantasy, that's a much larger pool, because the rosters are a fraction of the size. It's not a good analog.

Sure but most of the time those are going to be free agents if they're injury replacements or breakouts.

No they're not. They're on the waiver wire. All players are on the waiver wire after the games are played.
I thought that they were only on the waiver wire for the week after they were waived? After that or if they were never drafted they should be available for immediate pick up.

In fantasy? Not usually. It depends on league settings, but typically, every week there is a waiver period that runs from game time, or some set time, through Tuesday night. Then waivers process Wednesday morning. So if Zeke tears his ACL during the game, Pollard is available to the highest bidder (in FAB) or highest in the waiver order that week.
Dropped players also go to waivers for a set time, usually a couple days, and there may be post-draft waivers, but in most leagues all available players go to waivers following the start of the week's action.
In Yahoo there are free agents (green adds) and waivers (yellow adds). I've always thought that separate rules applied to each group but maybe that's always just been the way leagues that I've participated in have had it set.

Yeah players are green after waivers clear Wednesday morning. Idk if you're in either Inforoo league but they both have weekly waivers like I described.
