MTV announced that Kacey Musgraves will not perform at the MTV VMAs tonight because she’s so disappointed at the moment. She’s a country star, not a pop star. You know, but, most country stars don’t attend the MTV VMAs because they’re too disappointed at the moment. MTV people don’t even care about country music because they’re too difficult to listen to country.
Why is she disappointed and why are country stars at the moment disappointed in general? And to be honest I would call Kacey a pop star more than a country star at this point but I’m curious why you think she’s not a pop star? Her new album is more R&b than country imo

I think it's a real person, and she happens to have autism.

Obviously I've never met her in person, or even know her name - but there's certain tells that I kinda picked out that makes me suspect autism. I could be off, but thats my first guess.
I know there's other people here who have autism, but they're not as noticeable as her though. Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing for her, but it's just something that we (and her) ought to be aware of.
I know I've made a few jokes (the hologram comment, for example) - but in all seriousness, I hope that if she sticks around, we can better understand her and also be able to help her out.
As someone who is on the spectrum, it sucks when you're trying to be more social with others and struggle with fitting in because people don't really understand you (or even want to.) It took me until my mid 20s to truly realize I wasn't some shy loner that could only really be accepted by family members. It's still a struggle in my brain at times. But, Inforoo and all the wonderful people here has helped me a lot to understand myself and be better.
