The excitement around these LCD shows from people the board is probably evidence that they went out too early
eh, i dunno about that. a good, fairly well-liked band just announced their first shows in 3 years, and a handful of people are excited about it. seems about right to me
Eh I'd say Kanye next probably. Gizz seems top-3 for sure.
We’re kinda picking nits at this point anyway, but Gizz just doesn’t ignite the same passions as Kanye
i just have vivid memories of what seemed like the entire headliner thread acting like Gizz was the single greatest act to ever grace Bonnaroo with its presence
edit: before they dropped from the lineup, they were second in the "what Bonnaroo act are you most excited for" poll, only behind MMJ.
a lot of the discussion centered around how they'd play mostly because of those 3 hr shows. I think the boosted a lot of anticipation, and it died out once people connecting the dots that it would conflict with something and not be 3 hrs

i feel like when im in your mind fuzz came out a bunch of the psych rock people were posting it a lot in the Now Playing thread but they weren't really talked about elsewhere. Same with Psychic. but the Jaar love seemed to die down or be contained to a few posters, while the king gizz love seemed to grow with ever new album and hit critical mass when they were announced for 2020.
the real winner here should probably be MMJ or maybe tame impala. King gizz coming in third.

i'd put King Gizz ahead of Tame just because Tame is actually really popular outside of this board
yeah, tame love around here is probably reflective of the general population; which means they're just generally overrated and not necessarily the winner here.
The fact that people were expressing their disappointment the other day that Tame weren’t playing more Slow Rush songs live though makes me think they should take this.
Kanye is arguably the greatest artist of his generation and this forum threw a fit when he was announced to headline Bonnaroo near his peak.
This post is the reason Kanye should win this.
Kanye is probably my favorite remaining artist on this poll and has been for a few rounds now. But yeah, no way I can vote for him as the "least overated" here if I'm been honest.
