Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Definitely going to vote for Katy next round, especially since her setlists have been trending towards playing lots of the Teenage Dream singles lately.
i voted kanye because no matter what he'd do at bonnaroo we'd all be talking about it for a decade to come.
drake is also an acceptable answer though.
edit: regarding coldplay, it might be the most single consistent opinion on inforoo that "well i don't like them really, but i hear they put on a great show so i'd be OK with that". like coldplay is the little debbie cakes of bonnaroo headliners. you won't turn down one of those little iced christmas trees, but there are a thousand other treats you'd prefer.
But would it neccarily be "the best" tho. I know his listening parties are only just that, but apart from the few Sunday Service shows there's barely anything to base him off in comparison to Drake, Coldplay or Garth. Coldplay might actually give the best show, though Id give the effe to Drake because he has, I think, more hits that would hit the target-demo of Roo.

you are correct we have no idea what a 2022 kanye performance would really look like. but even the listening parties were wild, and kanye has a long history of putting on shows that at a bare minimum were memorable. during the yeezus arena tour i remember people around here saying it was the best show they've ever seen. even the clips from the pablo tour looked completely absurd, kanye on that floating glowing platform moving around the arena. having said that i know festival shows are different, and bonnaroo 2014 was controversial, but i was in the back of the crowd seeing a bunch of people with expressionless faces and folded arms start to vibrate when kanye went into "cold".
hard to deny the strength of the catalog and the bombasticity of kanye's live performances. it'd certainly generate more discussion around here than coldplay.
I'd probably boot Kanye third, so can't argue too much here, but I've got no faith in an actually good performance. And I'd feel pretty scummy if he dragged out a Manson type shithead again. Too much edgelord bullshit to enjoy the chaos.

Drake is awful live
I heard his 2018 (?)-tour was great (the one with moon in the middle of the stage).
Drake was pretty bad when I saw him in 2016(?). Would like to give him another change though
if you thought he was bad on that tour, his tour was the same level of performance in 2018. I went to both of those with massive drake fans so I had a good time, but he wasnt amazing.

For me, Coldplay is the easiest "I'd be happy to see them at a festival, but I'm not about to pay to go to their solo show" out of this bunch. So that's my first pick.
Kanye is "There's no way I'd pay for his solo show, but I'd honestly probably go to his festival set just out of pure curiosity and complain about it the whole time."
