Rage seems like a good possibility since the only Texas date they have is El Paso and that show will be long past when October comes.
it's funny because ever since i got tickets for the el paso show i've been much less interested in them playing the fest but would i still go see their set? oh hell yeah.

Coldplay is in Texas in early May, and its a Live Nation tour. Just a matter of what happens for South America in Sept of next year.
I think Coldplay performing on a park like Zilker goes against their mission to perform in environmentally conscious areas. I could see them performing in the new Moody Center instead.

I know it's far out and these shows are tiny but wondering if sza is out since she's kicking off her "tour" with Texas. could also just show there's a ton of demand

The only thing that makes me think no on Posty is that he has his own festival to worry about at the end of October in Dallas. I'm not sure who's promoting it but I think it'd be strange for him to do ACL then 2-3 weeks later do his own festival. Then again Travis Scott did that so who knows.

it sort of sucks that George's crowd was so sparse, might make them think twice about Garth, and there's lots of different factors at play there, but it feels like another slam dunk
i got super close for george so i can't comment on the rest of his crowd but were there a lot more chair/blanket people than actually standing people?
it was probably the smallest BIG stage crowd I've been a part of, Robyn/cure were very small but they were at the smaller HL stage. artic monkeys also a lot smaller than Travis. can't speak ok OutKast/beck but that mightve been the last 2nd stage has a bigger crowd up until Miley
