Bonnaroo 2022 Predictions Draft
This is a competition to determine who can most accurately predict the lineup for Bonnaroo 2022. 30 rounds of picks in a snake format, no need for posters, free agents, or schedules.
Scoring is based on poster placement: 10 points for a headliner (the FIRST act listed on F/S/S) 6 points for a subheadliner (listed on the same line as the headliner, in 2020's format that would be Miley/n*ctar/Flume/Oysterhead/VW/Lana, but in 2021's only Meg/Tame/Lana would count) 4 points for an act in colored text or otherwise more prominently displayed than other undercard acts 2 points for Thursday acts (harder to predict imo) 1 point for undercard acts F/S/S 5 bonus points if one of your acts is selected as Superjam host
We can talk about changing the points up but this seemed like a good first draft.
There are no eligibility requirements for acts; if you wanna take a flier on a Talking Heads reunion or John Lennon resurrection, go for it, idc. Once an act is selected, they are off the table for anyone else. Strategically, you can do whatever. Load up on potential headliners, try to nail as many Thursday acts as possible, hit that midcard money, up to you.
Picking "Jack White" does not include White Stripes or Raconteurs, but would hypothetically cover "Jack White and the Night Sweats". Caribou and Daphni are two different acts.
If y'all think of any more grey areas, let's try to get them figured out before we get started. First round starts Monday, November 1 at 9am EST. Signups close October 30.
I figure the 30 rounds will last a few weeks, and hopefully finish up before scoop season really hits. If we get scoops mid draft, whoever is up next gets lucky 🤷. I'll total up the points on lineup day and release the results from there, will probably take an hour or two.
Remember, in this game there are no votes, only points. You will not be shamed for picking "bad" acts, and you don't have to worry about making a cohesive lineup in any way.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
So are we aiming to draft headliners first or just honestly taking whatever we think is most likely to show up at Roo ‘22 regardless of its size/popularity ?

you can take headliners whenever, and as many as you want, they're worth more points than undercard acts, but maybe guaranteed points from a smaller act you *know* will be there is a better use of your pick. Truly up to you
