I’m not totally clear on how the festival that Rummy and I took ought to be booked in this game if we are supposed to make the lineup similar to what they’ve done in the past.
On any given SS lineup, I will recognize between 7-11 acts. Are we supposed to play as if we have the same budget? Would it make sense for us to draft 6 more rounds then go on skip until the end of the game?

You will need to fill out additional stages. If there aren't enough existing ones then you can add another as you see fit.

Like, you know you're up for that when picking a festival like the same way you're gonna have to pick some Spanish acts when picking Primavera or Japanese when picking Fuji Rock.

Want to clarify that no - I didn't plan to draft 10 normal names then 110 others that nobody knows of. We chose the fest based on location and uniqueness. Yes we planned to round out the lineup with icelandic artists and what not but if we drafted as you are suggesting, we don't really need to participate in the game since everything we'd be allowed to take would be available in free agency.

we're making a list of small icelandic acts we plan to take down the line but not as this point in like round 5, i think understandably?

As someone who isn't counting realism at all, I would go something like 100-20, personally. 80-40 is great imo.

We all have an idea of what kinds of things these fests traditionally book. I think if you are at least making an attempt to add some of those - in addition to your own stuff - then I don't see a problem with it. Like we are definitely going to try to include some local talent for ours, but that's only a handful of names in our case. I wouldn't expect others to have to spend too much time on it neither.
If someone wants to do a 100 percent realism draft, go for it. This one's not it.
