I am going to add a rule before before we start drafting.
*During the first three rounds we will be selecting/declaring headliners only.
Also wanted to see how you guys feel about headliner exclusivity. Should we limit headliners to three total festivals or should they fall under the same rules as everything else?

I would be ok w it but I think part of the game should be how unique you can make your festival so maybe leave it up to the drafter

I’m a little confused on the “headliner talent” rule since we are drafting a smaller festival. There are some acts that were major headliner status and now aren’t (Phoenix) and acts that may not be announced for festivals that could headline the majors next year. Even irl, MMJ headlines Shaky but wouldn’t headline most of the fests drafted today.

How is “headliner talent” determined?
We can determine status by where they’ve been positioned recently. I think it’s okay for smaller festivals to stick with that vibe if that want, but I don’t see a problem with going big and not limiting ourself for the sake of the game.

so like hypothetical someone like Zeppelin could be in play for Pitchfork, even though it would never work irl and those arguments play out during voting

would be a huge coup for Andrew to make Pitchfork as the final festival selection just to book Led Zeppelin imo

When are we starting? As soon as Julie and co. want to throw out their first pick?
Yes and I got confused looking at round 0 but it seems TV and Co got second pick for fest and first pick overall here, soooo I smell some serious cahoots afoot
