Be honest: Do you care about The King of Limbs as a whole?

Honestly, I know I have a tendency to break with the majority opinion of people I know when it comes to Radiohead discography, but even I can come together with you all and agree that The King of Limbs is the eighth studio album by the English rock band Radiohead. It was self-released on 18 February 2011 as a download, followed by a physical release on 28 March through XL Recordings internationally and TBD Records in North America. Following the protracted recording and more conventional instrumentation of In Rainbows (2007), Radiohead and their longtime producer Nigel Godrich developed The King of Limbs through sampling and looping; singer Thom Yorke described it as "an expression of wildness and mutation". The artwork, by Yorke and longtime collaborator Stanley Donwood, depicts nature and spirits inspired by fairy tales.

Lotus Flower is an all time banger

Alright. So here's my drunken (but not too drunk) opinion on this album. Some songs I definitely come back to (Separator, Codex, Lotus Flower) but overall, it's my least favorite album. I get they were trying to experiment and do something leftfield and encouraged "enhanced" experience (blotter paper) but overall it kinda felt forced for a different approach to their style. It's fine, not great tbh. First experience with them was 'In Rainbows' which definitely colors my opinion, but TKOL feels purposefully different.

Hard to say it's my least favorite when Pablo Honey exists, but not an album I listen to very often. I do like to watch the 2012 Roo show sometimes and I like that performance and the songs they play from the album a lot.

Even being someone’s least favorite, doesn’t mean it’s not still great. They’re one of the bands that I literally like everything they’ve released.

I ignore most Radiohead theories and conspiracies, but "This is only half the album, there's a part two coming because the final lyric is Thom saying 'if you think this is over then you're wrong'" was one of the more amusing ones people convinced themselves into believing as some sort of defense of the album.

Anyway, the "Magpie/Little/Feral" stretch is the weakest portion of any Radiohead album, but the back half is very solid. I feel like the era itself had some more interesting songs ("The Daily Mail", "Supercollider") than the ones that actually made it onto the album. I voted Option 3.
