Rest of this year has so much to live up to. I'd been avoiding the Beach House EPs so I could listen to it in its entirety, woah. They never disappoint. Not always transcendent, but always a great great vibe.

Beach House is pretty good. Not many surprises left after 8 albums, but as someone said earlier in Survivor they really are the platonic ideal of a nap band
Also can't tell if the Bad Boy Chiller Crew album is a practical joke or not but pretty sure I like it?
Honestly doubt I'll spend a ton of time with new albums this week just because I really want to get into the nooks and crannies of the Big Thief from last week. I only have time for one 90-minute album from beloved indie rock acts a month I'm afraid
Somehow missed that Spiritualized was postponed until April. AnCo is still my number one this month, with a close 2nd by Big Thief. Lots of good stuff on Bandcamp as well though.
Are we starting top 5 preferential voting this month or still just doing onesies?
Curren$y & The Alchemist - Continuance is absolutely fantastic.
Convinced The Alchemist is incapable of making a bad beat. Doesn't quite hit the highs of the Boldy James one from last year for me, but I would've missed this otherwise so thank you kindly for the recommendation

1. Big Thief – Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You 2. Spoon – Lucifer on the Sofa (feels wrong not giving this the number 1 spot, but Big Thief has the slight edge for me. Two incredible albums from two of my favorite bands) 3. Hurray for the Riff Raff – LIFE ON EARTH 4. Black Country, New Road – Ants From Up There 5. Cate Le Bon - Pompeii
