There probably is a good chance you could get a Weekend 1 wristband for under face value in the weeks before the fest but since I'm not local I don't want to deal the hassle of monitoring stubhub constantly

I am still 50/50 on whether or not this thing will fly - huge headliners + some ultra rare bookings that will get diehards to travel internationally (I know some British fans are going to travel just for Jai Paul). But then again, mainstream reaction seems more sour due to lack of Top 40 rappers, mostly.

That being said I am not sure the AMEX Pre-Sale is the best gauge of demand either way. The general pre-sale will be the first sign, and then the resale market too (in terms of how many people with presale are trying to dump their tickets).

Obama was president the last time anyone with a brain paid over face value. The track record is pretty clear at this point and this lineup isn't changing that reality.
