Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I played scared and used my fourth guess to eliminate some letters. Glad I did after seeing all the misses today. Couldβve been me - sometimes I just plow ahead and figure itβll work out. Thank you for coming to my Wordle talk.
I'm curious why so many people try to guess for the word over and over instead of using those preliminary turns to eliminate letters.

Iβm kidding, of course. Really, itβs just a different choice. You can actually put the game into hard mode, which requires your subsequent guesses to use the letters that have been revealed. I donβt have mine set that way, but I play as though I do. I just decided a while back that that was how I was going to play it. But I also think Iβve accidentally used guesses that didnβt have all my revealed letters, and Iβve definitely done it on purpose at least once or twice in Wordle 2 because I seem to have a harder time on that one coming up with words that use the revealed letters sometimes.
