they did in 2016! do we think lorde would be a headliner next year? she’s in a weird position bc i know she was a sub during melodrama but she arguably gained more hype on mystique alone between melodrama and solar power, but lost a lot of that steam with the album itself. hard to say!

You're probably right, but I was banking on Beach House getting a little boost from the new album combined with Bonnaroo cheaping out on the top lines again.
Haim played Thursday 2013 and again in 2016, they'd be a good #2 on their day in 2023.

foos seem likely for 2023 right?
i know we said that from like 2010-2020 but since they were actually booked for 2021, makes me wonder if in the cancellation they might've secured those same headliners for 2023, since 2022 headliners were probably already booked.

yeah maybe they didn't book the exact same headliners as 2021, but its possible they would've wanted to lockdown an evergreen act like Foos.
i'm hoping Lizzo releases some new shit in 2022 that just crushes. but from where we are now yeah she doesn't look like a headliner.
