Griz to me was always a safe booking. If he’s our big bass artists then I’m totally ok with it. I would also bet he does another set in the campgrounds somewhere.
hoping for that set in the camprounds or WITW as I feel that's where I'm more likely to see him pull out funky stuff (more stuff like his older stuff).
Calling Griz discount value Nectar is weird, he's always been all over the map in his music.
I just got back from Space Camp, it was a lot of fun, and the crowd he attracts is much better than the old basshead crowd too
it just seems like he's been plugged in everywhere bassnectar used to be especially after fully committing to this dubby sound. i miss his early music
check out okeechobee now what used to be a bassnectar residency is now a griz residency
i will agree with you that griz fans are much more tolerable

I miss that OG GRiZ stuff...dubstep is my subgenre and I get that he's gone that direction because it's really popular right now but I really think it's not the move for him (not financially he's doing just fine that way but as far as talent for it....just not it)

Great Value Bassnectar is definitely what I felt at Griz's Okee set this year. Only other time I saw him was Okee 2017 and his set was a very different vibe
In case Pretty Lights would make a return, is he as big as Griz or not even close?
I mean I doubt the kids even know who PL is nowadays. But PL is actually really good, while Griz has like 1 good album. I’d say Griz is more popular today but if PL had a come back I’d say by end of 2023 the wubz world would see the light that Grant is bad and Derek has the sounds.
It’s funny Griz tried to sound like PL back when PL was active and now that basstard is gone he’s tried to get all bass in ya face. Griz is bad but he seems like a nice guy at least. Just terrible music.

The owl seems to have confirmed Vulfpeck with a like on insta. Plus I watched an interview with Jack last week saying Vulf are "playing a few of the fests next year" along with special corporate events. I will be buying my ticket in the morning!
