Die Hard and Gremlins are Christmas movies because the entire movie takes place on or near Christmas. Movies with one fleeting Christmas scene are not Christmas movies.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Catch Me If You Can deserves the 'technically a Christmas movie' status that Die Hard has. Eyes Wide Shut too
Another one like this I like is Go, even if some aspects.. haven't aged great.
I also watched Prometheus this week. Idris Elba puts up a little Christmas tree and the alien is a metaphor for Baby Jesus.
Go came out when I was a senior in high school. Loved that movie back then. I rewatched it recently. You’re right, some of it hasn’t aged great. But I was surprised at how entertaining it still is.

Yeah the middle section with the bros in Vegas, which is the worst part of the movie by far anyway, is super transphobic iirc. Or a white guy says the n word a lot (more in a cringe way than racist way). Or both.

Idk how I forgot this one because I also just watched it this month but I think the actual answer might be Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. And there's pretty much no dispute about that movie's Christmas bona fides.
In high school I had a burned CD labeled "Go soundtrack" that I used to listen to all the time.
Years later I realized it was actually music from Hackers.
I was driving this guy for Uber and listening to the Orb and he was like "omg this song" and I thought he was just drunk talking shit but then he was like "Toxygene, right? Do you want to watch Hackers rn??" And then when he got out of the car he screamed "hack the planet!" at the top of his lungs.

I hope when you were about to drop him off at his destination, you said "get ready to bounce"

i'm researching MSG seating on aviewfrommyseat.com, and want to give a quick shout out to Damien, who posted 33 pictures from Section 311 Row 1 Seat 5 from the "Kiss: End Of The Road World Tour" concert he attended.

pretty good seats
Yeah I'm a fan of the chase bridge seats. You are far from the stage but the sound is fine and the seats are roomy.
Has anyone said Ariana Grande yet? No dates next year yet but saw that a tour is likely
I would absolutely go see her but somehow she doesn’t feel like a Roo headliner. Don’t know why per se. It would be interesting to see what changes they would make with security because after the 2017 Manchester incident I’ve heard she requires tight security inside and outside—although she did play lolla in 2019 which is known for fence jumpers
