My Taylor comment was totally a joke. It just seems like most of the artists playing on her tour, except for her. She’s obviously not playing Bonnaroo.

i know it’s not happening but it is crazy to think about what booking taylor would do to the entire landscape of the fest this year. i think easily >40% of the attendance would be there for her and for her only solely bc it’d be cheaper than any of her headlining shows

Are they selectively releasing Taylor Swift openers as clues to try to drive some ticket sales and make it seem like she would possibly play? Even though she isn't going to, just driving rumors could drive ticket sales with how crazy her stadium tour is selling.

There's no way they're smart enough to do that.
Also I think people on here tend to way overestimate how much the casual festival goers pay attention to rumors. Just because 100 nerds on here might read too deeply into clues doesn't mean it'll drive ticket sales at all.
