Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Now this is what I really wanna know...will it be like 2019 for me where I spend 95% of my time at EDM sets or 2022 where I spend >5% of the time at EDM sets
Was opposite for me. I loved the house but after experiencing both types where it’s either a lot of bass or house I think Roo needs to even things out a little bit more and even add in some techno and trance
If there’s one pet peeve we collectively have here at Inforoo, it’s people who tease scoops that they don’t eventually reveal. It really roobus the wrong way.
Can’t blame them for not wanting to out their sources. Notice infinity has been quiet since the Drake leak and Brad getting pissed. If someone get caught leaking within the company it’s probably a fireable offense. Buttttttt they can tell us what genre of edm is dominant on the lineup…. That’s not leaking any names…. Just sayen

This year Roo is defying all the expectations and booking an exciting slate of dance artists ranging from jungle, breakbeat and melodic techno, all the hottest euro sub genres!
JK we’re getting Smoakland or some shit like that.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I'm just saying it's other subs that aren't getting a lot of discussion either here or the Reddit thread.
Hmm I'm gonna guess Meg or Lil Nas X!
God I hope it's not Meg. She put on a fun set at Okee this year, but had like an hour block and only performed for like 35-40 minutes of it. Then spent 10 minutes of that dragging random girls on stage to shake some ass. Wildly entertaining, but would be frustrating to see her in a headliner slot.

I do tend to agree here. We started at Meg but after the third wave of bringing random people on stage we pivoted to Washed Out. Turned out to be a fantastic life choice, as it was the best set I saw in 2022.

I still really wanna see Meg! Traumazine was one of my favorite rap albums this year, I think her set would be a huge party. She doesn't have any shows announced right now though, plus has obviously been preoccupied with her legal battle so I don't think she's particularly likely unless they wanna make up for 2020/2021.

It might just be personal preference then, I love listening to rap albums but live performances very rarely do it for me. JID at Hulaween and Earthgang at Okee were two of my favorite sets this year, but the other rap and hip hop acts I've seen this year left a lot to be desired- I think I expected more performance from them than backing tracks. Rappers certainly bring a presence to the stage you don't see from many other genres though, very unique and more personable than other acts.

JID is another name I'm hoping to see on our lineup! The Forever Story was my rap AOTY.

I get the complaints of Meg's Okee set but I still thought it was fun and a good time. Would take her over some of the other options mentions for sure.

To clarify, my agreement with marketdown was that her Okee set left a little to be desired. To be fair to Meg, she stopped bringing people on stage once we left so we probably missed the best part of her set. Would agree she is better than a lot of options in her slot.

Question for someone who hasn’t payed as close of attention as the rest of you hooligans.
Has it been confirmed Odesza is the 1st act billed on one of the three main stage days or has it just been confirmed they’re on the top line of one of the main stage days since Roo now puts the top 2-3 acts for each day on the same line of the lineup?

I think my only real complaint is how much of her set doesn't end up being music- at a music festival I'm there to watch artists perform.
I've got the same reservations about Lil Nas X, his catalog isn't large enough to pack a full set and that's a complaint I've heard from a lot of people who have seen his most recent tour. I have heard that he puts on a fun set, I just wish he had more in his catalog. I think the reason I'd prefer him over Meg though is the fact she has a catalog, she just doesn't go through it. I don't just want to hear the hits.

the owl said they are a top 3 name on the poster. That makes me feel like there is a 85% chance they are number 1 on their day.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
