Also I totally recommend Babylon, saw it last night and it blew me away.
My only criticism about Babylon was it definitely didn’t need to be three hours and ten minutes. And Sidney the trumpet player’s character/storyline was underdeveloped. Other than that I found the movie super entertaining. What a wild ride!!!
My wife and I really didn’t like Knives Out. Up until this point we felt alone in the world. Thank you
I've seen Glass Onion which was great, but still haven't seen Knives Out. What didn't you like?
It was just god damn “hammy” and I didn’t find it nearly as clever and charming as it thinks it is. Daniel Craig’s Foghorn Leghorn impression got under my skin. EDIT: my original draft included a spoiler and realized that’s a dick move seems how you haven’t seen it. So I have a gripe with the ending, but won’t ruin it for you
I'm just saying it's other subs that aren't getting a lot of discussion either here or the Reddit thread.
Honestly gonna go out on a limb here and mention Subtronics again. I have the feeling we're gonna get a dubstep heavy Other stage since last year was so heavy on the house.
Subtronics is playing a 1200 cap venue here and hasn't sold it out, he won't be higher than like 6-8 on his day

i also felt that KO was too obvious (still loved it though) and GO completely solves this problem, fwiw

He also closed out Saturday at Lost Lands this year, in the dubstep and festival world he's huge even if he's not selling out venues on tour. The wooks love him.

last time he played a multi genre fest, he was tenth on his day. Billing at niche festivals doesn't translate to the big ones.

I was super excited after the trailer. Saw in the theater opening weekend before the hype started. And just felt it wasn’t nearly as clever or witty as I expected. Maybe my own expectations were too high. I’m definitely in the minority with that opinion. I watched Glass Onion at home over the weekend. Liked it more than Knives Out. But still didn’t love it.

Hahahaaa!!!! I basically just said the same thing above. Great minds!!!
Am I broken in that this review makes me want to see it more? After seeing the Whale I’m realizing I need to fill all the Aronofsky filmography holes in my life
I think I’m the only person who liked Mother. Hahaha!!! But I totally get why people didn’t like it and I do not argue. It’s kinda batshit crazy and pretentious as fuck. I really enjoyed the insanity tho.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Mother owned, was a bit heavy handed but I enjoyed it
I mean, this year I watched a movie in which a TMZ camera guy get sucked up into a cloud monster while screaming “film me bro!” As he was devoured by said cloud monster and REALLY driving home this beat to death metaphor. Can it get anymore heavy handed than that?

No, I am the exact same way lol
The more people trash a movie the more I need to see it just to see if it's really that bad
mother! isn't F Cinemascore, worst movie of all time bad, but it is bad.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
