2013 was my first Roo and since it will be 10 years this next Roo for me I was wondering what three acts you’d like to see come back 10 years later to play at Roo 2023. Excluding the headliners, who do you feel would be fun to have back with the acts we already know will be there. Like Nas would be a good booking alongside Kendrick. Weird Al and Portugal. Would both be fun to have back together since they have a few songs with each other and played together that year.
I think mine would have to be 1) Animal Collective 2) Earl Sweatshirt (still waiting, since he’s never played) 3) Weird Al
HM: Death Grips (since Earl didn’t play I’ll choose them)

I’m no huge Billy Strings fan, but you obviously haven’t been to more than two or three shows if you can honestly say he’s the worst band/artist you’ve ever seen.
I would love Weird AL, amazing movie also. But unfortunately it seems like Roo only does one meme music booking a year and we got stuck with Young Gravy.
The sound was too low at his Roo show and I left cause I couldn't engage. If definitely see him again.
Where were you fer “Weird Al”? I had no problem hearin’ the first part of his set from where I was in the tent. Maybs half way or two thirds of the way back from the stage.
And I’m still pissed ‘bout that LN conflict, but I think I made the best I could out of it goin’ “Weird Al”->Billy Idol->Jim James SJ.

The drummer of Modest Mouse just died. Haven’t been hit like this by the death of an artist in a long time- holy shit. RIP to a legend.
That dude was awesome. My best friends fav band is Modest Mouse and at a show in Raleigh a long while back a girl out a cig out on my buddy during the show and close enough to where Issac and the band noticed and he said something about it. My buddy then went on to slide in the bands dms, the drummer reached out and the dude put us on guest list for years. Sounds like it all happened very quickly. Terribly sad, seemed like a nice dude.
