Some guy in the Reddit thread that says he has a friend in the media says Korn. It's a pretty left field choice, but I can kind of see it happen. The person did say Kendrick before IP confirmed, but that could be a lucky guess.
Not gonna lie, definitely didn’t foresee a nu-metal resurgence and pop punk resurgence coming back from the grave simultaneously to snatch up some solid 2nd and 3rd tier spots and I can’t help but find the humor in it as I cry.
We kind of associate nostalgia with artists that were older when we were first coming to age. A lot of folks talk about "Legacy" acts like it's a band from the 1960s/70s; but if you're looking at relative ages, Tool is as old in 2022 as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were when they headlined in 06. If Nine Inch Nails we're to play they'd be about as old as Bruce Springsteen was when he headlined back in 2009.

Had to take a few creative liberties for the sake of entertainment. For example, I included Everlong and Float On, even though the deceased didn't perform on the recorded version. However, Taylor Hawkins and Jeremiah Green both played their respective songs for every live version.
